Ozwin Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 IAN HOLLOWAY, WHAT A willy puller, WHAT A willy puller etc etc. I can't wait.
Asha Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 IAN HOLLOWAY, WHAT A willy puller, WHAT A willy pulleretc etc. I can't wait. Doesn't really fit. What about Holloway, fook off Hollowaaay na na na na?
phillcfc Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I don't get this hate towards Holloway. He had to try to turn around a club that had been sliding for years. He had one transfer window to repair the damage done by previous managers where he was able to buy two of our current best players. He wasn't a great tactician and he said some embarrassing things, but his heart and soul were in it. You could see how much it meant to him and how devastated he was to be relegated. Any other season, we would have finished a few places higher on 52 points and there were so many bits of bad luck I lost count. He's always been very complimentary towards City and its fans ever since. The job was just too big for him (and I think many others would have failed too), but Blackpool suits him well. Anywho, 2-1 to us. Gallagher and Oakley scoring.
leicesterfox86 Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I'm not confident. Away from home, I wouldn't be either. At home though, I think we can do them. The atmosphere will be good with the return of Hollway and we should use this to our advantage. Early goal and the game is ours. As for Hollaway, he was always going to do well at Blackpool. If ever a club suited a manager...
leicesterfox86 Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 So, Mr Holloway is back this weekend with his Blackpool side. What do we think his reception will be? Good, bad or muted? Personally I hope it is the latter, he will thrive off anything else. Make the atmosphere electric, but don't single him out as if he is anyone important I reckon.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I think Ian Hollaway will take Blackpool forward., and I still rate him as a good manager.
Joe. Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Couldn't care less to be honest. He came, he failed, he went. Now we're better off for it in my opinion.
syston_fox Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Can't say I've really given the guy more than a seconds thought since about half way through last season and so I'm not really bothered that he's coming back. I won't boo him and I won't applaud him - he may as well just be any other manager.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I actually hope he gets all the abuse possible. Terrible manager. Never thought we were struggling. Hope we stuff them 5-0. Cant stand the man.

Milky Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Nanananananaa fook off Holloway, Holloway! fook off Holloway!
Budweiser Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I actually hope he gets all the abuse possible. Terrible manager. Never thought we were struggling.Hope we stuff them 5-0. Cant stand the man. Absolute twat.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 It's like when Hume came back with Barnsley the other week, he provoked more of a reaction than any of our players did. Ignore Holloway and get behind our lads.
SystonFox Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Yep, MM told IH to play Harry Worley against Stoke. and....? Worley had a decent game that day, it was the other clowns who got us relegated!
Fox92 Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 He's doing well for them thus far and is proving me wrong as i thought he would ruin Blackpool!! I thought that he would do well with Blackpool because their a club the size of the likes of Plymouth who he did well with, obviousley Leicester was to big for him and....?Worley had a decent game that day, it was the other clowns who got us relegated! Like who? Surely one player cannot stand out if the team got relegated. They were all poor. I can't remember his performance that day although his performance on his debut at Sheffield United was rubbish I seem to remember... IAN HOLLOWAY, WHAT A willy puller, WHAT A willy pulleretc etc. I can't wait. Doesn't really fit. What about Holloway, fook off Hollowaaay na na na na? Nanananananaa fook off Holloway, Holloway! fook off Holloway! Remember when he was our manager and we played Bristol City at home and they sang 'cheer up Holloway' (you do the rest...)
ronnup Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 It's like when Hume came back with Barnsley the other week, he provoked more of a reaction than any of our players did. Ignore Holloway and get behind our lads. completely agree with this, the little rat faced cock would lap up all the shouting and ranting, i'd much rather we had a Pearson love in and ignored the fame seeking ****.
Guest Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Come on, we've got to give him some stick! What does that achieve? Better to ignore him, and see City beat his new team.
Daggers Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Theres not been any evidence that MM has told any managers how to play or what team to pick and he apparently only recruited a couple of players as I understand. Thats just Holloways excuse for failing here Id suspect (if he did say that to the Blackpool Chairman) Certainly cant see him telling NP what to do Seemed pretty clear cut on the Football League podcast (with Mark Clemmit). Accusation born out by a number of people within the game that Mandaric interfered too much with Holloway and all those preceeding him - which should come as no surprise to anyone seeing as he dicked the club over with the mental signings he made on behalf of the managers. People blaming Holloway for our descent into the third tier are being blinkered, Holloway was nothing more than a piece of the jigsaw - Mandaric was the sodding box.
Corky Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Let's get behind the team, Holloway has been and gone.
C-man Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 and....?Worley had a decent game that day, it was the other clowns who got us relegated!
teblin Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 He's right the other clowns got us relegated throughout the rest of the season
