Dylan Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 Dyou have to have a certain amount of posts or be a member for a certain amount of time to start a new topic. Cause i created a new account today, and it wont let me start a new topic

Guest Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 Dyou have to have a certain amount of posts or be a member for a certain amount of time to start a new topic. Cause i created a new account today, and it wont let me start a new topic That's to enable you to read the forums a bit, get used to using the search function, etc, so that when you are able to start new threads you don't end up starting one about something that is already being or has been discussed.
ozleicester Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 Is there any reason why we have to have our post counts displayed on the board? It's not as if it's anything to be proud/ashamed of. Does anybody take/ dispute peoples opinions on the basis of their post count? Pah, who cares what you think.. youve only got 7,000 posts
Webbo Posted 7 January 2010 Author Posted 7 January 2010 Pah, who cares what you think.. youve only got 7,000 posts Yeah, but you've not seen my inside leg measurement.
Houdini Logic Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 < How many posts do I need before I can change this text EDIT - As if there wasn't going to be some trial and error involved...
Houdini Logic Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Cheers - I better jump on the ' ' and 'this' reply bandwagon
Daggers Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Cheers - I better jump on the ' ' and 'this' reply bandwagon Or listen to lots of different songs and tell everyone the title of each one.
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Or listen to lots of different songs and tell everyone the title of each one. Or discover that something new grinds your gears, daily.
Daggers Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Or discover that something new grinds your gears, daily. Ooooh that pisses me off.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Ooooh that pisses me off. Why not post it in the 'Grind my gears' topic - 2 for one post count!
Matt Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Ooooh that pisses me off. Despite the preacher creating the thread and being the 2nd highest poster in the thread....and people say I moan.
AoWW Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Despite the preacher creating the thread and being the 2nd highest poster in the thread....and people say I moan. You do. You're even moaning about moaning. At least acknowledge the irony.
Matt Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 You do. You're even moaning about moaning. At least acknowledge the irony. I was being sarcastic about that bit, sometimes doesn't show through though, TBH I wondered whether Daggers or whatever his name is now was being sarcastic himself but the sarcasm doesn't show through with his post's alot of the time.

I think the 'Oooooh' in Dagger's post indicated the sarcasm. He doesn't strike me as the kinda person who'd go around 'ooooh-ing' on a regular basis. [/sarcasm]
