DJ scored for fun in his time at Blackpool so how come he sits on the bench even when Howard and Fryatt have trundled to a near standstill and while we prefer to play Kermorgant as a slow boat in some sort of no-man's land and Waghorn who, apart from that lethal left-foot looks way short of Championship class?

I watched Leacock after Howard had chased him away from his comfort xone towards the corner flag and the bloke look knackered. We needed someone like DJ to run him and turn him til his eyes were banging together like clackers. He might make mistakes like everyone else but at least he gets into the box and threatens.

I am talking all-out action midfielder...but they are rare and increasingly more happy to spend time on a Premiership bench.

As you mentioned Leacock was back after an injury lay-off and Buxton is a player whose been relegated from the league all together. Failure to tactically take advantage of that today was very disappointing.

First time ive left a game this season and felt really pissed off. We're starting to look at times as dour as some of NP post match interviews!

My missus upset the Steve Howard fanclub on Row c of the kop behind the goal and whilst I've tried hard to understand what makes many love the bloke, im afraid ive given in today and sided with her, he's just not doing the business.

Akinbiyi was lambasted for scoring 10 premiership goals in a season....Steve Howard....yet to find the net in a league lower. Surely its time to look at Yann for a prolonged period.

I thought the game was crying out for a bit of craft/guile and that probably would have come from the boots of Paul Gallagher.

Wellens needs to stop moaning, Oakley needs to start finding a blue shirt....

NP needs to find his best X1

Was anyone close to the dive? Why wasn't he booked if it wasn't a penalty?

TV may prove me to be wrong, and i'll hold my hands up, but from what I saw it was the most obvious and deliberate diver I've ever seen. When he fell, there was a foot of space between him and the defender.

As you say, if he doesn't think it was a penalty, it had to be a dive. Yellow card and a bloody fine.

Think they had a shout after though when they had a guy pushed that was running in to a cross.

2 points dropped.

We dont look like we are going to score though. If Fryatt doesnt we struggle like hell.

Set pieces are shocking, crosses are pityful and there isnt enough pace about the team.

Even if we had won 1-0 I would have still been disappointed as we just dont score enough, and that has to change if we are going to come in the top 6.

I was in the kop and I thought exactly the same.

And why the cock did Fryatt not hit that chance first time!

He's right footed! Hit it with your right bloody foot! Don't take 17 extra touches and tamely pass it to the keeper!

That's why he's the most frustrating player i've ever seen.

I thought there was minimal contact myself. Was sitting in P3 so had a decent view. Even though there was contact, it was a definite dive and should have been a booking.

Having said that, some of our players, especially Howard, deserve punishment for dives.

Personally, I actually thought it was a reasonably enjoyable game (we've seen a lot, lot worse down the bowl in recent years) and really don't think we were all that bad, just lacking a bit of inspiration in certain areas.

At the start of the season most people said they'd be very happy with a mid-table finish. For me that was a mid-table performance, no worse, but everyone is acting like they've been visually raped. Obviously now we're up near the play-off spots it's dissapointing to drop two points we coild have won but some of the melodrama on here is incredible.

Just looked like a slip to me, then he had the nerve to appeal for it!

Cunt.

That's what annoyed me. It looked like he was so embarrassed (because it was a slip or a dive) that he needed to appeal.

Had he got up and not moaned I would have accepted it and put it down as him loosing his footing, let's face it it happens. But he appealed and then continued to complain after the goal kick.

Again I might have missed something, but my instant thought was what a schmuck.

It wasn't the best game i've seen. That sums it all up really.

Got myself a new Siggy tho ;)

That sig sums Hulse's game up completely.

Hobbs should get a lot of credit from today, especially from me I was starting to think he wasn't up to this league

Brown seemed to play well again and pick out some excellent passes. He's recovered after his poor performances.

I take back what i said, Brown and Hobbs deserve 7s.

Disappointed I must say, Derby were shit, We should have scored which would have led to us winning in the first half, in the second half we matched Derby's shitness I think.

It's nothing to be worried about just yet but I've gotta say i'm a little alarmed at the amount of draws, Draws are dangerous, to many draws are no use really, I'd go as far as saying Tuesday is must win just to take some pressure of us again.

Well, not the best game, but some good news as far as i was concerned.

1) Jack Hobbs is quality

2) Andy King looks quite accomplished, well worthy of a position.

3) Stevie Howard worked damn hard

4) The Walkers was excellent, much better atmosphere than i expected

5) Could do without all that crappy music etc before the game

6) We were a FAR better team then the sheep

and...... Just when you thought things couldnt get better, who should be sitting alongside us (for the 1st half at least), none other than the legend that is BERNIE! a memory (and smell) that will stay with us for a lonnnng time.

Also, there seemed to be some trouble post match at the F? Bar... anyone know anything about it?

I don't give a flying fuck about our current league position, how we played the last time we were in the Championship or whether Milky Ways used to be bigger in the '70s - it's all irrelevant.

We played without passion in the final third, failed to capitalise on our possession and dominance and squandered the opportunity to take three points from a very poor side.

If you are the sort of person who can hand over your cash and enjoy an afternoon like this then my hat goes off to you; you are the type who will gain enjoyment from watching ITV sitcoms, paint dry and reading train timetables. You are one of those simply souls who smile when it rains and lick the windows of buses. I believe you may inherit the Earth. Well done.

Me? I wanted some gumption from the team. I came to see a passionate local derby. That wasn't it.

Poor tactics, poor substitutions and (yet again) Pearson plays people out of position because he's more worried about losing than he is passionate about winning.

I'm sick of hearing Pearson refer to how "tough" the Championship is (BBC football). "Tough is being a kid in a cancer ward or a soldier with three sodding limbs missing.

Beating Derby today should have been a stroll in a sunny park.

Was that supposed to be a derby? No passion at all,it was just a non event.

And for those that were asking......

90:00+2:33

Robbie Savage fires a strike on goal direct from the free kick, Wayne Brown gets a block in.

So it's not tough being an adult and having cancer, or a soldier with just one limb missing?

I'm sick of you making out how Pearson's got this or that wrong, implemented the wrong tactics and selected the wrong players every time we fail to win (or even when we win but fail to win convincingly). You seem to think everything is so simple and straightforward and use your past coaching experience at amateur level as some sort of argument that you could get more out of the current Leicester City squad.

It's so easy to talk the talk, and you know you can keep doing it week in week out because you'll never get the opportunity to prove whether you could do any better or not. You're like one of those TV pundits who has never managed a professional football club but has the audacity to tell others how manager X got this wrong or manager Y should've used your tactics instead. It's incessant and boring - everyone here knows that as soon as Leicester don't win you'll be on with your essays preaching how Nigel Pearson should've done his job.

Quite frankly, we don't have the squad to win promotion or make the play-offs. We've stuck with largely the same squad as last season but now you're expecting them to steamroll teams in the Championship, which simply isn't going to happen. Players like Brown, King, Oakley, Dyer and Howard - all of whom dominated in their respective positions last season - have this season been caught out and found wanting on a number of occasions.

This season is about stabilising ourselves in this league again and not losing depressingly 1-0 at home to piss poor teams. We're still doing much better than most people would've thought at the beginning of the season. Give Nigel a break - he's doing a better job than most people would've thought even if we do have to endure days like today. Yes there are problems, but they are nowhere near as drastic as you suggest with your ramblings.

We seem to be lacking balance in the team. We are trying to accomadate players rather than play a balanced side.

If Howard is going to play he needs wingers if he is ever going to score. As steady as morrison is he is not a right back and gets a bit of a nose bleed when he gets in the final third(don't want neilson back in mind you), though he needs support from a proper wide play think it may be time for Adams to start on wednesday.

Up top we are too predicatble, teams can play a fairly high line and not have to worry about pace too much. I don't think it will be too long until waghorn or DJ get a start along side one of the "target men"

Derby are shit. Worst team I've seen so far.

We didn't play well but should have won, but we didn't, now lets move on and get 3 points on Tuesday!
