MC Prussian Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 What a difference a Paul makes.... Good to see Campbell coming on and proving he still can't score.
AjcW Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Good stuff by the second half team . Shame our next two games are on sky otherwise I could of seen us being top by next friday night. Mind you QPR 4-0 up against reading at the moment.
Corky Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 We needed that, big boost to win again at home. Inspired substitution from Pearson it seems Looking forward to seeing what the attenders have to say
jonw88 Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Great to see Gallacher break his scoring duck, hopefully he'll be bangin them in from now on!
Hitesh Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Good for both the team and Gallagher! 3 pts behind the leaders!
ousefox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Good win. Shame that other teams around us have won as well meaning not much progress in the table.
AMYB101_LCFC Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Rubbish first half. Amazing second half. Paul Gallagher had a great game, he did well to get his two goals. Can't believe Fryatt missed the penalty though, lucky Gallagher was there to get the rebound. Really pleased with this result
Gav_LCFC Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Forest just won, that means they are above us.
StanSP Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Gallagher you sexy beast. Good win that . Glad to see Gally get off the mark with a brace. Really wanna see his 2nd goal.
Madrid_Fox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Fantastic second half. Nigel Pearson seems to have an incredible gift of being able to change games when its not going our way. Its great to see us so high up the table, the team is going beyond all expectations. Nigel Pearson is Yoda!
Tilley Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Not too excited about being three points off top spot because the top 12 is so tight, nice three points. Good to see Gallagher getting his first goals for us and he has to start against Reading on the back of that.
lavrentis Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Where we to in the table now then? 8th, 1 point of playoffs.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Best possible news whilst on the way too work.......I'm a happy little vegimite
Corky Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Where we to in the table now then? Still 8th, but closer to the top two.
RowlattsFox Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I said in the "Team for Palace" thread that Gallagher should have started We know he is capable and to be fair to him he has been a little bit unlucky so far this season, hit the upright a couple of times and been denied by good saves. Scores one goal, then another one flies in from 30 yards, its how football works. He's going to be frustrating, be shit a lot of the time but then have a game like this. An important win, shame every other ****er won too so we've not really moved anywhere, other than closing in on the front two. But if we hadn't won tonight we'd be looking at the bottom of the table.
AMYB101_LCFC Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 8th, 1 point of playoffs. Good. We still above Bristol City?

Gallagher appears to be a greater threat coming on from the bench as an impact player, same as waghorn.
Fosse Boy Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Happy. Have bragging rights over my Palace mates til at least the return fixture now. Well in Gallagher!
IOWFOX Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 very happy with that, was expecting a draw. bring on monday evening at reading, cannot wait
Salieri Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Missed second half commentary. Did we go 4-3-3 when Gally came on? Great result, much needed.
Finnegan Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 Blinding goal from Gallagher, really streetwise. McGivern didn't do much too wrong but to be fair the lad looked a bit shy. Shocking Palace, though, offered absolutely nothing. Fair play to Warnock for a bit of banter, though.
