willchafer Posted 15 November 2009 Posted 15 November 2009 want to see gradel back and at least on the bench. grant mccann is a gooden. maybe cleverly depends whether he likes watford. mark davies is worth a shout considerin he hasnt settled in that well this season. and kerrea gilbert!!!!!
Shane Posted 15 November 2009 Posted 15 November 2009 Any of these: Mark Davies Cleverly Kerrea Gilbert Halmosi Tosic on loan. and Armand Traore of course.
Lillehamring Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 I prefer the boysenberry more than any ordinary Jan....
Daveaway Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 For me after watching the Raeding game their two midfielders caught my eye. The first being Jobi McAnuff and Marek Matejovsky both looked dangerous, I am sure they would make a move to City
crazylegs1984 Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 wouldnt mind waggy signed on a permenant..plus the return of a rejuvenated and fully fired up gradel. spoke to Waghorn on friday in wagamama he was in with his girlfriend he said he wants to signs a extension and was hoping in a possible permanent contract
AmericanScott Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 spoke to Waghorn on friday in wagamama he was in with his girlfriend he said he wants to signs a extension and was hoping in a possible permanent contract Waghorn in Wagamama. Also, that's good he wants to stay. Impressed with the kid.
MikeyT Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Right.Peter Halmosi - A left winger is something I think we need to be honest, Dany N'Guessan is naturally played on the right, Gallagher is a forward and Dyer isn't really succeeding at this level to be honest, as well, I don't think Halmosi would cost that much. Tom Cleverley - Went to the England U21's yesterday, and I tell you what he was fantastic, looked faster, better dribbler, better crosser, he has totally improved his all round game since he was at us I think, and if his loan with Watford expires in January, then I think its a real possibility. Mark Davies - Another one that seems to have fallen out of favour a bit at Bolton, and definately would do the job at this level. Calvin Zola - From what I've seen he's looked a class act, 6'6 tall, mobile, good finisher. He is the finished article in my opinion, he might be about 27 years old, but I still think he'd do a good job at this level and would provide very good cover. Jordan Rhodes - About 20 years old, and he is absolutely banging them in for Huddersfield, he would be fantastic. Martyn Waghorn - I personally think he will come until the end of the season but then go back to Sunderland, having said that, his deal at them is up at the end of the season, and therefore wouldn't cost as much. But I still think a permanent move is a real long shot. Isn't he out injured and that's why he's not playing for them?? Sure he is injured. I think.
marbelladave Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 This is the point I should get on my soapbox and start making the case for getting the best out of the players we do have, rather than pining for players we don't. I could go on about how we need to be playing our best players in their best positions etc, etc and how there is little likelihood of MM splashing enough cash on players good enough to make a real difference, but I won't, not at length anyway. However it has been clear from recent games that we need strengthening in center midfield and at right back, those would be the only areas I would look to strengthen.

CosbehFox Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 I'm not sure this is correct Well, I read the same and research it. It appears he is out of contract or at least, Sunderland haven't mentioned a new deal. That said it was the same with Hobbs last season, some source said he was out of contract but he wasn't.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 I think we should also get Dennis Bergkamp in as a coach or something. This isnt football manager, wouldnt mind it tho, Waghorn, Neil Mellor would be nice. Kerrea Gilbert.
Fox92 Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Robert Koren - Come on, if he wants to leave West Brom, lets get him in! Dennis Bergkamp as a coach? More like as a player... David Stockdale
crazylegs1984 Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Waghorn in Wagamama. Also, that's good he wants to stay. Impressed with the kid. Yeah i Know i work there get quite a few in there Morrison usually comes in with Ardevic and kingy and waghorn was in with his missus shes quite a looker . if any of them are complaining of fitness levels though its because of the Chicken katsu's they eat each serving is 2000 calories i did warn em
scinnell Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Neil Mellor Robert Stockdale Robert Koren Tom Cleverly Peter Hamolsi Thatll do me
Finnegan Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 Not that I'm saying we don't need any new strikers but why are people still calling Fryatt things like "hit and miss"? Only two people in the entire league have scored more than him and they're both at free-scoring Cardiff. What has he got to do exactly?

It seems like he should score all the chances he gets which is just unfair.

Yes Fryatt does score but who else is scoring Waghorn looks promising, Howard looks hopeless. DJ and Kermogrant might score if they get the chance but i would not rest my hopes on them two, So therefore we need a striker to get you 20+ goals a season.

Ozwin Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 If Fryatt put away every chance put in front of him he got he wouldn't be playing for us. Get a grip people.
milan_foxes Posted 16 November 2009 Posted 16 November 2009 LB for Rochdale, saw him when they played Luton in the replay of the F.A Cup the other day, looked a VERY talented youngster who can cross it better than... anyone in our team, he can take corners and free-kicks so I think he'd be a good signing.
