I know Campbell got the winner but according to Soccer Saturday WBA's second goal was also his fault as it was him who lost the ball.

I heard that, but they said he lost the ball deep in the West Brom half - it's not like you can blame him for the goal if the ball goes from one end of the pitch to the other and the midfield/defence don't stop it!

Probably thinks Pearsons a cunt, s'why he dont perform here.
And I can see why he thinks that.

Now you know how we feel.

I'm sure a lot of you are eating your words as we speak.

I'm getting a case of deja vu.

Last season he was banging them in for Blackpool, now it's Derby profiting. >_<

by all accounts 'banging them in' is a bit of a strong description of his goal today, apparently it was bundled over the line in some sort of mad scramble in the goal mouth

I saw the goal on SSN. He scored with a header from about 2 yards out. And plus, he needlessly gave the ball away and WBA went down the other end and Dorrans put the ball into the back of their net.

A goals a goal whether its bundled in or drilled in from 40 yards...

Exactly.

Also, it was hardly a goal mouth scramble as some people "wanted" it to be. He was in the right place at the right time.

Was nice to see him scoring with his head as well.

It was the type of goal that we never score anymore - i.e. a lovely cross with a striker gambling and burying a header. If that was Howard up front he'd still be puffing and panting on the edge of the area unable to make up the ground in the box.

Another month off the wage bill, and won't be cup-tied, so can still be a target for others during the transfer window.

Top stuff.

Hopefully he'll extend to the end of the season towards the end of the transfer window, if no offers come in for him.

I'm still hoping Holloway wants him up at Bloomfield Road again, seeing as there doing quite well, they might be able to afford his wages now.
