DJ Campbell @ Derby County

Not the all Djs goals were penos debate again :giggle:

He scored 9 at Blackpool, only 4 were pens.

Thats less than half :P

And at least Campbell scored all his pens there, Fryatt missed last time.

If you bothered to read it I never said they were all pens. I was asking how many were. Nearly half is a fair amount.

5 goals from oepn play in 20 games is not quite as impressive...

It's a sad day for Leicester fans!

It's a great day for Leicester fans who are capable of telling the difference between a striker and a fast runner.

It's a shame because I'd never want to see Derby do well, but I'm hoping he'll do reasonably well for them till January, they'll sign him in the transfer window, and then he can go back to the typical Dudley we all know and get them relegated, along with co*.

Do you need a lift Dudley?

On the OS

DJ Campbell has signed for Derby County on a month's loan.

The Rams made an approach to sign the striker and, after talks between the manager and the player, it was agreed that DJ would move.

Foxes boss Nigel Pearson said: "I had a chat with DJ and decided, with the transfer window coming to a close, that a month's loan would be good for him to get some games in."

Smart move by NP... look at the games he can play in for Derby (presuming it's until the end of December).

Reading

WBA

Preston

Watford

Doncaster

Blackpool

Newcastle

Shame. Still thought he could offer us something we clearly don't have an abundance of up front (pace).

Wish him all the best and hopefully he does well. He's clearly not wanted here so will do him good if he can maneuver a move in January on the back of a good spell at Derby and resurrect his career (and loosen the wage bill lol).

I still believe it's more of a personal problem than a footballing one for his reasons why he has been left out in the cold for so long.

I trust Nigels judgement at the end of the day and if the two can't work together it's for the best.

I was hoping to see more of him aswell, but it just aint gonna happen for some reason. I'm sure he'll do ok for whoever he plays for as long as he gets matches.

This current management comes up with more reason than we've witnessed in the four seasons prior to 2008/09.

Almost as good as the Dickov saga. Genius move.

Especially for us. lol

It's only as a month, people are acting like we've sold him.

We practically have though, this is an audition for the main permanent role. Derby, unlike Blackpool, can afford DJ's wages so if he does well enough in this month he'll join them in January no doubt.

I'm unsure if NP will let him leave permently. Cause it was left till the last minute with this deal.

Good bye Dudley, don't hurry back, normally I support any player in the blue, but to say what he said and be a shite footballer, then good riddance to bad rubbish. Hopefully it will be permanent and we can add him to the long list of dross that has played for our great club in recent years.

Go.

Play well.

Take points from those around us.

Come back.

Score goals.

Anyone who wishes anything different is a bit of a twat.

lol what is this a dictatorship or something?

i'd be more than happy for him to go, play badly and derby get relegated
