I'd also like to extend my congratulations to the few fans who booed the side (Wayne Brown in particular) before the match, great effort lads :angry:

Some people are only happy when we are doing badly. It means their permanently miserable outlook starts to look right.

To be honest we were awful tonight one of the worst i have seen live. Brown looked like he didnt have a clue and mcgivern should be sent back to man city.Awful challenge by waghorn but 2 great goals by bristol city someone should have got a foot in for the first goal. We need to have more width and get oakley back in the centre because he looked half decent there and that he always drifts in anyway. So get king out and get adams or dyer or get gradel back so we can play with 2 wingers and get some shape back. rant over lol

Considering you never seem to be at any games, you sure seem to have a lot of (shit) opinions.

Baby-twat. You have absolutely no idea how many games I attend and as such should keep your twatty summising under wraps.

Wow, just got back from watching undoubtedly the worst performance I've seen for a good while.

I appreciate that most teams will have a blip, and that we have been punching above our weight but that performance from both the players, and the manager was atrocious.

You can excuse a side when things aren't going well, as long as the effort is palpable and urgency is shown if you go behind. Today at 2-0 down, no urgency was shown whatsoever and at no stage did we ever threaten a comeback. There was no direction to the play and the sense of panic throughout the entire side made for a depressing spectacle. The defence was an absolute comedy show, the McGivern/Brown combo made for some Keystone Cops moments whilst Hobbs wilted before our eyes throughout the game whilst the midfield were a non entity once more.

Where Pearson was culpable was that with things clearly not working, he didn't deem it worthwhile to change things sooner as he did on Saturday when he claimed the game wasn't going to plan. Our resorting to aimless hoofball is unwanted, but when it happens we needed Howard/Kermorgant to actually try and make something of it.

The officiating was also amongst the worse i've seen.

For anyone that went tonight how did Wellens play? Sounded non-existent on the radio. I haven't seen him have a great game yet. After what we were led to believe about him being about the best midfielder in the division last season (his own words) I am underwhelmed.

Most of his passes seem to go sideways with the odd flamboyant one thrown in. I can't remember his last assist it seems to be that long ago. Perhaps it is because he is playing with players who are almost alike in style (King & Oakley who have been equally ineffective). Perhaps we need a tough tackling midfielder in with him to get the best out of him because as I say so far he has been a little disappointing for me. Not particularly bad, just not very good either. What does everyone else think?

Wellens is currently looking a different player to even a few weeks ago. He was shocking tonight in terms of tackling and distribution. confusing to say the least.......

These people are worse than nazis. The same people who booed at half time at 1-0 down in the opening game of the season but cheered at the end after City won 2-1. The same people that either left at 70 minutes, or stayed and cheered the last goal but booed the final whistle.

I'd like to take a guess at not many.

Tonights game was awful in my opinion. Waghorns tackle was just out of fustration, i still have all my faith in pearson, he brought us back up last season, im sure he will give us a few wins soon.

COME ON YOU BLUES!

2 emphatic defeats in 4 days on the back of a poor performance away at S****horpe is obviously going to be confidence shattering, I just think that all of the talk in the media heaps unnecessary pressure on a side already feeling the pressure of their league position and the increased expectations that come with it.

But we'll see. Wednesday are coming here on the back of a very bad run themselves and will be, like ourselves, low on confidence. The game won't be pretty and we seem to lack a leader and anybody willing to graft and fight at the minute. I can see us being beaten by the odd goal at the weekend and then being pummelled out at Cardiff. Not ideal but hey-ho, that's Leicester City!

My Cardiff fan friend is already relishing our visit on the 19th lol, I must admit I fear it will be another embarrassment, they have, argueably 2 of the best strikers in the league

Spineless. Absolutely spineless.

Pearson should have changed it at half time but bottled it.

It's a good job we managed to get 31 points up until now, we'd be smack bang in the relegation if we played like this from the start of the season. Not looking good is it? Two out of form teams playing on Saturday, it'd be just like us to lose that as well.

Babylon is a mod so bad choice with the insinuations :P

No team is good enougth not to go down. The Championship is one of the most competitive leagues in world football and any team can beat any team on the day.

We might have played poorly but you don't suddenly become a bad team, we've been punching above our weight and water finds it's own level. We'll finish mid table I'd imagine.

its all about confidence..... most of the sides in this division, give or take a couple or so, are much of a muchness in terms of ability, resources etc.. this is why a team bereft of confidence can suddenly find themselves in a relegation dogfight. City tonight looked down and out basically from the start and Pearson's biggest challenge to date will be to turn this around. If he can't do so then he may be found out for the inexperienced manager he is....

What was Fryatt's goal actually like lol?

Had no mention of that at all so far.

He outpaced their defender and slotted it in the bottom left on the bouce. Was a good goal tbf but it was one of the weirdest celebrations I've seen from the fans. Nobody gave a shit by then.

It was OK, but I didn't cheer it. I just put my head in my hands and said

'Why the fcuk can't we do that from the start when we have more than 2 minutes to come from 3 behind?'

Right can someone please just tell me how many goals he has cost us this season by backing off and backing off? he is an experienced defender, but can he not see that backing off HE is costing us goals?? the sooner tunchev gets fit the better, so we can send mr brown off somewhere else. with pearson being a former defender himself, does he not notice or tell brown to stop backing off? and what was that header all about he tried to do tonight for there 2nd goal, he cost us two goals tonight IMO.

UP THE FOXES.

Lets turn this around saturday and give wednesday a xmas stuffing!!!

They also have the same as Forest and Brizzle - pace. They break quickly, they're direct and they love to run at defenders. We've clearly shown we can't deal with that, so I definitely fear the worst. Anything less than 3-0 at present would be a near-miracle. My birthday weekend as well and I'm supposed to be going to it. I'm considering not doing it.

Our fans are pure twats aren't they? Guy scores a brilliant goal and he gets berated. And whoever chanted 'only 1 martyn waghorn' after the horror tackle seriously is a **** and should be banned.

Need to chill out. Its a football match. I agree that it was a very good goal but think it would be shit if everyone just showed that attitude when he scored. Why dont we just celebrate it? :P Its that kind of thing that helps to create an atmosphere cause there wasnt much else that was going to help create one.

Gotta love City fans sometimes!!!

When we over achieve they want automatic promotion.

When we have a bad time they want the managers head!!!!

All teams have a bad spell but usually you can pin it down to one area(ie upfront)

With us we are currently crap all over the place!!!

Realistically anyone looking at this group of players to achieve any more than mid table is seriously on some good shit.

A couple of seasons ago most would dream of having 30 odd points by Xmas...normally we aint into double fugures by then!!

Just chill out abit, let them have their bad spell and let NP sort it out like im sure he will.

Anyone who even thinks about calling for his head should never be allowed to go to a game again.

Any team can beat anyone in this league.

Ang credit to Bristol as they scored a couple of corkers, like people have said.

we always excpect us to beat any team but are slow to give credit for teams to come and get points from us.

Also a decent following from them too...didnt like the small team in Asia chant though!!! Tossers!!!!

Up the Shitty!!! :santa:

Just got back thought the performance was awful. Seemed after the first goal went in we lost the plot. Also reading some of your posts on here, i saw people criticizing McGivern, thought the guy played well tonight, was one of the best out of our players tonight.

Tunchev is out for ages so dont depend on him coming back... as for Wayne Brown... I think it was stupid for him to come out after Saturday's debacle and make a public apology... this has back-fired this evening and unfortunately made him look a complete twat. He does back-off, basically because he hasnt the pace to catch a striker if he lets him pass him, and he knows this..... I'm afraid you can see why Hull let him go now.... he may be good in the air but he's afraid of pace and cant cope with it. Finally his distribution really is shocking.

Posted

The common denominator of both Forest and Bristol is not that they play in red, but pace, we seem to come completely undone when players run at us... Especially a certain bald centre back!

Also I'm not sure how bad Berner and Fryatt were against Forest as I wasnt there, but they have imo been two of our best players all season and shouldnt of been dropped on one game. As for Oakley however he hasnt really cut it since League 1 I'd say, such an uninspiring captain.

We'll be fine though I reckon, eventually?!
