tontondan Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 What is wrong with Kermorgant? Reading your ratings of players I think he played well against S****horpe and especially during the victory against Plymouth (I did the calculation of averages, he took note the best of strickers and midfields ....) Why Nigel Pearson was replaced after half an hour of play against Nottingham Forest? (Only 0-1 at that time ..!) Why has he not played against Bristol? Why it does not take free kicks and corners (his great specialty). Excuse my English because I helps me with "Google"
acooling08 Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 I suggest you all listen to heroes in blue & white to take your mind off the awful performance today and remember successful times.
caz123 Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Oakley currently is being played out of position on the right wing, hence his performances are below par as he is by no means a winger. The midfield IMO worked best when we had him and Wellens in the middle of the park, who are both very good passers of the ball. What are you expecting Wellens to do? He seems to get stuck and win the ball and occassionally drives forward. At this level Im not expecting a world beater.
Guest Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Depressing. No idea how a team that was so hard to beat has gone to pieces for two games straight. Fingers crossed it's just a mini bad patch, guess we'll know soon enough. I still don't get the booing, it's not a fucking pantomime people. Oh and to the cretin who suggested Nige has lost the dressing room and should be sacked on RL on the way back, get fucked you utter moron!
Guest nathan. Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Where on a blip After Forest the whole squad is low on confidence, Its up to NP now to show if he can actually get the the players up again somthing he's never had to do. Saturdays game is huge and will some what give us an idea of how our season will shape up.
Mikey Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Well that was just shit. Not looking forward to 3 games without Waghorn. Hopefully give Kermorgant a chance up front. Big game Saturday.
foxaholic Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Bar Newcastle, West Brom, Middlesbrough every team in this league could be described as a mid-table one Middlesborough are probablly worse than city
maddog Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 We know what Mandaric is like though, he's probably sharpening his axe as we speak.
Radovan's Caravan Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 What you are going through might be just a statistical blip or it may be more prolonged. Confidence it would appear is a very fragile thing that rises and falls like baker's yeast. But to concede half as many goals again in seventy two hours as you had up til Saturday? Your unexpected recent success has meant that a number of your players and your coach have become targets for other clubs. And the speculation surrounding them is very public. At the very least this can be very unsettling. And at worst it can lead to some players not putting in honest performances. The result tonight was more galling than the one on Saturday. You were well beaten by a side who had only previously managed one win on the road. The stats and the omens backed you to bounce back but you sank without trace into the mire. I suspect that there are some off pitch issues in play here. All is not well in Mandaric's thiefdom...
Guest nathan. Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Middlesborough are probablly worse than city At the moment yes, but when they click there one of or are the best footballing side in the division
Hugo Sanchez Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 PEARSON OUT Seriously though, what the fook has happened to us ? 1-0 up at scunny with 5 seconds to go and everything was magic. Since then we have gone sooooooooooooooooooooooooo shite its unreal. Saturday is the BIGGEST game in Pearson history. Lose and he'll be gone by monday.
Finchy Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 It's a blip, that's all it is, everyone has one. Just where nothing will go right, no formation will work. it just happens and it always does at some point during the season. We will get through it and anyone calling for Pearson's head will you please **** right off, there is no better manager available and sacking him will be the very worst thing to do right now. This man got us out of League 1 with ease, he knows what he is doing, like I said, it's just not going for us at the moment, sh*t happens.

Pearson won't last till the new year at this rate and its not a blip you tool, its 8 goals in 2 games and today Bristol City hadn't won for fooking ages !! Pearson Out !

Joe. Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Pretty damn gutted with that after Saturday's result. It's hardly a better time to play Sheffield Wednesday though, so we can get back on track at the weekend with a good win. Disappointed about Waghorn, although it does mean a well-needed shake-up up front for now. Unfortunately for us though it'll be him out the team and not somebody else...

Koke Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Problem is we are very low on confidence. Happens to every single team in this division. A while ago Middlesbrough couldn't win for love nor money. Forest started the season terribly. Cardiff started good, but went on a terrible run. Bristol City the same. Swansea started horribly, but seems to have picked themselves up now. I could go on all night. This is just our turn to go through a shite phase. We haven't suddenly become a shite team overnight. We are a pretty good team low on confidence. All we actually need is 2-3 players and we can actually commit a right assault on the play-offs. All things considered, we are punching well above our weight. We've massively overachieved thus far. We have a team that played League 1 last year, with couple of free transfer additions + Richie Wellens. Tonight was poor. Very poor. But shit happens. We got Wednesday on Saturday and we couldn't wish for another team to play. They are even playing worse than us. We'll alright. All of you filthy skanky metal-loving cock-munching cunts who calling for Nigel's head, go and do one. I got no time for you.

carterfox90 Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 i went i saw i couldnt believe how crap we were!! 92minutes to get 1 shot on target is piss poor so what did they do on sundays training go to the pub pearson will get back on track but we havent played well for a while apart from the QPR game worst game i have seen for effort since we went down but as others have said would rather get blip out of the way now & we all would have taken mid table come the end of the season
Cropwellfox Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Boo-fucking-oom!You, me, Savage...I wonder if anyone else gets it yet? ...and comparing the squads, player for player we're arguably weaker than the squad that was relegated the season before. Oakley and Brown, the only two players who appear to be in NPs thoughts to captain the side, do not deserve to be picked at the moment, which weakens us from the 1st minute. Just now, the decision to spend half the summer courting N'Guessan instead of working to get Cleverley back in for a season looks odd to say the least, and why oh why didn't we try to get defensive cover in on loan when it became clear that Tunch's knee is seriously knackered??? Not knee-jerk reactions, just common sense given how bereft we are of alternatives - apart from QPR, when we won thanks to a goalkeeping howler, how many games can we actually say we looked like we were really worth the 3 pts?? We don't have the ability to hurt teams, and now the defence are wobbling all over the place January can't come soon enough (presupposing Milan will give NP and SW the green light to get reinforcements in...) We're a lower-mid table side this year that has flattered to deceive thanks to some luck and to be fair some guts as well, and December will bear this out.
Fox92 Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Nigel Pearson cannot become a bad manager over night, we all know that. He has got us promoted, at the first attempt, back to the championship. He has got us to second in the league - well, seventh now. But I still think the current team is not good enough and that we don't score enough goals. For starters, if he is going to play 4-4-2, please play some wingers! Matt Oakley is not a right winger. Also, I know some of you critisize Nielson, but Morrison is no full back. The team may be a little unbalanced. The sooner January comes, the better. We need a real good target man, a good winger and a hard midfielder like what Niel Lennon was. To me, the midfield gets overrun to easily. We have got a lot on our hands now. Ok, we all didn't expect to be 1s - 10th in the championship in December, but once you are in that position, ie 3rd, you want to stay there. We have 4 very hard games coming up now - starting with Sheffield Wednesday, just hope Laws doesn't go before the game, Cardiff City, Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers. With our current performances, I cannot seeing us getting a point However, this has got to be a blip. Come on Leicester
