Collymore Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 where's the 'lo fi' version gone? I need it to be more low key for work...
Mark Posted 11 March 2010 Author Posted 11 March 2010 where's the 'lo fi' version gone? I need it to be more low key for work... FoxesTalk Work.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 I must be the only person it isn't running slow for, some of you need to stop downloading porn.
StanSP Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 I must be the only person it isn't running slow for, some of you need to stop downloading porn. Mine's fine. .gifs make it slower though
Lillehamring Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 I must be the only person it isn't running slow for, some of you need to stop downloading porn. it's ok for me too, at least no different to normal. is the size restriction on sig images going to stay?
Daggers Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 is the size restriction on sig images going to stay? I didn't realise you could get bigger than two-thirds of the screen.
Asha Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 A problem I'm having is that every time I load a page of any thread, the top of the page and part of the first post get blacked out. This is a screen shot of when I click on the first page of this thread, for example.
Lillehamring Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 I didn't realise you could get bigger than two-thirds of the screen. if you are referring to my current sig pic - i have that because it was set up before the change, i tried to change the link in my sig and it rejected my image....
Lillehamring Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 You wanted a bigger one? no, the current one is big enough - but apparently too big, it said the max was something like 440x440....
jonthefox Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Im guessing im the only one who doesnt know, but how do you get your emoticons to work. and yes,i have clicked the button.????
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Whats this vote post up thing do - and it's all a bit weird! I don't know if I like it yet? Oh and where's all the weird add's gone, like the one for 'gay mature dating' i kept seeing?
Mark Posted 11 March 2010 Author Posted 11 March 2010 A problem I'm having is that every time I load a page of any thread, the top of the page and part of the first post get blacked out. This is a screen shot of when I click on the first page of this thread, for example. That's strange. Does that happen in every topic?? Im guessing im the only one who doesnt know, but how do you get your emoticons to work. and yes,i have clicked the button.???? They are not working in IE yet, trying to figure out why.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 They are not working in IE yet, trying to figure out why. Is that because IE sucks??? :crylaugh:
Asha Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 That's strange. Does that happen in every topic?? They are not working in IE yet, trying to figure out why. Yeah, every topic. I've copied all the info up until begin "msg number 1585368" and pm'ed you. Seemed like a lot of info though.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 March 2010 Posted 11 March 2010 Is that because IE sucks??? What I was thinking, I wouldn't bother people deserved to be punished for still using it.
MC Prussian Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 I'm still experiencing some lagging issues. Loading times are slow to very slow and at times, I even get kicked out completely and the server is inaccessible for a moment. I know you're working on it, Mark.
Simo86 Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 What I was thinking, I wouldn't bother people deserved to be punished for still using it. I wouldn't use it if i could avoid it, but its what my work uses across its whole network. They're working now anyway
lavrentis Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Working perfect for me, I think the problems are more user-side. If you are running IE7, then this latest forum software is known to have problems with that, upgrade to IE8 or even better get a different browser. If it's still being gay, try pressing "Ctrl + R" to do a full refresh and then clear your cache using your browsers settings.
Mark Posted 12 March 2010 Author Posted 12 March 2010 Text buttons and emoticons will work in IE now.
maddog Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Is that where you click on the arrow and it takes you to the quote? If it is, it had that on the old one. If not then just ignore me! There was a button that said post snapback on it next to the quote but it seems to have gone now
lcfcadam Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 Any idea why the quotes seem to be a bit fooked on certain threads? Such as this? All I get is the code for what the quote should be, no box or buttons or anything. It doesn't happen on most threads, just some...
Anish Posted 12 March 2010 Posted 12 March 2010 A minor irritant of the new layout is that when you want to switch from one forum to another (e.g. General Sport to General Chat etc) you now have to click on the forum AND press go, whereas before it would take you to the correct forum in an instant. I preferred the old way, it saved a few seconds.
