Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 The more publicity its getting, the more I worry about it being true.
flanimal Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Solano seems like a good man. I can't believe there is any truth in it on any level.
Koke Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 It's been a while since the last occurrence, after all. Desperate journalists call for desperate measures. It could actually be true, you know.
Poakey Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Didnt some Newcastle fan come on here not long ago and say he'd been up to no good in Peru hence why he came back to England so soon?
Poakey Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Solano From a lad on the Newcastle boards... QUOTE There is a bit of a scandal in Solano leaving Peru. Apparently he had a baby with a woman who isn't his wife. The baby is a few months old. The woman threatened to go public with it and he tried to get out of Peru before everything hit the fan and his wife found out He's basically running from his personal issues. His thinking apparently is that he can defend the story better if he was out of the country, or just escape the situation completely for a while. He took the first offer he could get,and then figured he'd work out the details from there. No mention of rape there so proberbly irrelevant
Jon the Hat Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 With so many young girls throwing themselves at footballers, the presumption has to be that this is not true.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 The fact is that nobody knows the truth about what has happened, so we don't have the right to either defend him, or accuse him.
dandannieldanok Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 With so many young girls throwing themselves at footballers, the presumption has to be that this is not true. With so many footballers like John Terry with their brains in their wallets and in their pants, then you can also very easily presume that there could be truth in it.
Tony Pine Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 He'll be out on bail and playing again in time for another 22 year old girl to accuse him of something bad on the plane from Newcastle to East Mids. All this leave a salty taste in the mouth - though I'm sure he won't get roasted over it. I'm here all week. what you did there....i see it
Head Honcho Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 The Northern Echo have taken the story up now but it seems like they've just replicated The Sun's story. http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/8122425.Nolberto_Solano_arrested_in_rape_investigation/
Jimmy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Official Statement on the OS 'LCFC Confirm Solano assisting police... understood he has not been arrested, merely helping police with investigation' that's not what it says now Leicester City Football Club can confirm that Nolberto Solano is assisting police with their enquiries regarding an alleged incident that occurred in Newcastle over the previous weekend.
Houdini Logic Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 With so many footballers like John Terry with their brains in their wallets and in their pants, then you can also very easily presume that there could be truth in it. Thinking with your wallet and pants is hardly a football thing - sounds like most of the guys I know
Jordan Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Even if it's not true, he was still probably doing something he "ought" not to have been doing and it's still embarrassing to be caught in a situation like that.
cambridgefox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I'm sorry but this bit at the top of the the page says it all. Can't stand the sun, I've not read one in about 3 years. It's full of bad journalism and shockingly exagerrated "facts", just basicially a piss poor excuse for a paper which unfortunately is the biggest selling paper for the "working class" folk who believe it. One also read the said article in the Times.Although we dont know the real facts, if it is true or not.It always seems to me, people want to get famous for nothing and a few pounds for nothing!but we will have to wait to see how this unfolds.I am hoping this will gel the team even closer for the play offs ,on a positive note.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Apparently "she" was Robert Earnshaw in disguise. Forest dirty tricks campaign.

Katy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I hate the Sun, what a crock of shit it is. I also hate footballers. I hope it's not true, we've had enough scandal at this club to last us a lifetime.
Edmund Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I have my suspicions that there is a media war on between this years play offs contenders trying to unsettle each others camps. Weren't The Mail (Mandys paper ) reporting that Billy Davies was set to quit for Celtic? There was a story yesterday from a Welsh paper stating that Cardiff players were drunk at the pfa awards and causing trouble even though it turned out to be a crock of shite and written by Swansea based journalists. Where's Radovans Caravan when you need him
ScouseFox Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Don't believe anything written in the Sun. But now it's on OS and in other papers, I'm not sure. Hope it's not true.
Salieri Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Hmmm, lets just hope this is a load of old bollocks. Bit of a different reaction from most on here compared to Dudleys arrest!
Webbo Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Yeah I saw him in Loughborough B&Q buying some rope and gaffer tape... I seen it.
C.J Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Here we go, La Manga all over again. Must say I'm abit shocked if it is true, Nobby doesnt seem like a person who'd do that. The sun ****s me off aswell, how loosely they use words like 'ace', 'hero' and 'tragic' etc.
Jimmy Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 I wonder how long it'll take the Boro fans to start a "she said no Nobby" chant on Sunder and how many ****** in our section will join in
The Blur Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 Apparently "she" was Robert Earnshaw in disguise. Forest dirty tricks campaign. Billy Davies and his tan would have make a more appriorate choice as a convicing tanned bimbo!
Ozwin Posted 28 April 2010 Posted 28 April 2010 I wonder how long it'll take the Boro fans to start a "she said no Nobby" chant on Sunder and how many ****** in our section will join in From what I hear their fans are diabolical.
