Rocky Dennis Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 You know you were dirtier right? Great start with Wellens just going in two footed. He's the Paul Scholes of the Championship. U taking the piss Bud? Chopra kicked Wellens in the fookin face!!! You are VERY lucky to be in the final. 1st Leg - Free kick in wrong place, Bothroyd should have walked, we should have had 2 pens 2nd Leg - Chopra off side, Bothroyd commits at least 10 fouls. Hope Blackpool batter you, you shouldnt even be in this league anyway.
Ricey Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Can't believe Yann did that, what an idiot. There is no advantage it dinking it down the middle, if you are gonna go down the middle you blast it! I didn't think we'd get through but I'm still absolutely gutted. However, I'm proud of the players tonight and I'm proud to be a Leicester fan. We worked our socks off but I have to concede that Cardiff are a better side. Roll on August and what should be a much weaker division.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I hate penalties I've seen the only 2 sides I support lose an A-league grand final and now this in the last 3 months. Incredible effort by us tonite fought hard all game every single player, to score 3 away from home was amazing and shows us how close we really are. Hopw we can keep the side together and make another push next season.
AjcW Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Really proud... really sad... really wish yann hadnt done that. Surprised he was the change to be honest, vaughn for fryatt would of worked for me. Note to self, dont strike a massive suit supplying deal with city that was dependant on us reaching the final.... ever.... again !!!
Hitesh Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Very very proud of the players this evening and for what they've achieved this season. Gutted about tonight and being soo close to the Final. I just hope we can keep Pearson and that he can do the same again next season and go that step further. All credit to the lads and the management and I couldn't have wished for anything more this season. Putting things in perspective, we've been amazing this season! Bring on August and the start of a new campaign.
BlueSi13 Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 On another note, what a heartbreaking way for Waggy to kick his last ball for Leicester City, no doubt the ****s at Sunderland will demand stupid money for him knowing that we'd never be able to afford it due to us bleeding money out of every orifice He's been a wonderful player for us and one that will be remembered for a long time im sure, i hope he goes onto great things Another point would be....how many of you are worried that this also might have been Nigel Pearsons last game in charge of the club? and how long before the rumour mill installs him as the new favourite for the job at West Ham United?.........

Can you make sure our players have decent stats and ones that reflect their actual ability on the next FM please
MrSpaM Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Well done Pearson, this is the strongest city side we have seen for years. Gutted beyond belief, but we played our hearts out tonight, can't ask for more. Roll on next season
Frenzied Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Gutted. But this is nothing on the feeling of relegation at Stoke. Couldn't believe how biased the ref was - absolutely shocking. Don't know about an offside before the pen but their first goal clearly was. Great performance and a great season. We need to go for automatic next season. If only the away goals rule still counted.
samlcfc Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Joe just put on facebook into words what I think in my head. "shame some people will never know what it's like to be a football fan". We still have a team to support and know what its like to support them. I cant even begin to imagine what it must feel like to be a plastic fan of large premiership club. Supporting city is probably one of the best things I do and one of the best choices ill ever make. Some of the experiences ive had whilst going to games over the last few years will always be some of the best times ill remember when I look back in the future and hopefullt theyll be many more to come
Cheese Me Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Ridiculous all the venom for Kermo, I'm as gutted as anyone, still want to cry right now but we played 3 1/2 hours of football and you can't lay everything on one kick at the end of the game. Horrible, horrible, horrible way to go out but penalties is a lottery, it isn't one man's fault and the casual racism is also pretty unattractive
surrifox Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Oh and Corky. We're getting rid of West Brom and Newcastle and adopting Burnley (one hit wonders), Portsmouth (will be lucky if they aren't relegated again next year) and Hull (shit.) If Pearson does well over the summer next year could be bright for us. agree totally - middlesborough will be threat though I would be dreaming of automatic promotion

They went on to say that you had to experience it fully and as Leicester fans, my God we have and do! I'm gutted though I'll admit the fact Forest also failed to make Wembley makes things slightly better than they otherwise would be! What the **** was Yann thinking?!
Legend_in_blue Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 That was one of the greatest games of football i've ever watched. It had everything. So proud of the team, what a fantastic effort. Truly epic performance from the players and Steve Howard absolutely IMMENSE THAT MAN. As per usual the moaners are out in force, it was Howard at Watford and now Kermo. Friggin' Berner charging forward in the final moments of the game absolutely class, showed everyone what we're about. Telling you this now, few beers later, we are on for automatic next year as long as NP stays and keeps hold of Hobbs etc. Disappointing to go out like this, but we went out with heads held high, top quality from the players absolutely loved it. Thanks everyone, will never forget this game. Brilliant.
Fosse Boy Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 A shame it had to end that way. Just brokemy heart to see Waggy like that, really did. Kermo. Why? Still been a great season, hope Cardiff go on and win the thing now. Don't think I could stand a summer of that clown Holloway having his sphincter lubricated by the mass media. And they're still revelling in it now. I'm sorry but I just can't hack that. The fucking ****** who don't understand what it's like to feel the pressure of a Championship semi-final because their team (who they never even known are playing) get to a cup final of some description every year. They'll never understand. Clueless *****. One Man Ure "fan" on facebook claiming he'll take that result as revenge for a Leicester fan having a dig at Man U for not winning the league. Moron. Still proud, still City. WYS.
foxoffderby Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Well done city. You gave it loads. Another day another game. No hard feelings to Yann shit happens. Great season well done lads for getting to the playoffs looking forward to next season a few extra quality signings and we will crack it. Thank you Nigel and MM. Lets keep the dream alive.Up the city!!!
lavrentis Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Pearsons interview - http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,12602_6150101,00.html Think he shows a small bit of emotion. Nige, what a legend.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I am obviously very disappointed and feel so sorry for the whole team after such a gutsy performance. Just wanted to say well done Nigel and your staff for a great season, way beyond my expectations. Roll on August!

Still been a great season, hope Cardiff go on and win the thing now. Don't think I could stand a summer of that clown Holloway having his sphincter lubricated by the mass media. Clueless cunts. One Man Ure "fan" on facebook claiming he'll take that result as revenge for a Leicester fan having a dig at Man U for not winning the league. Moron. Still proud, still City. WYS. I'll never forget the abuse we gave to a bunch of plastic arsenal and Chelsea fans in a pub on the seafront after we'd beaten Southend to go up last season. They didn't have a clue how to respond - cretins.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 As proud as I am with the performance, I have just remembered one thing that really pissed me off. That challenge on Berner was fooking disgraceful. Tackles like that and the other one against us when we were one on one in our league game away to Cardiff should be severely punished in my opinion. It's fooking dirty.

If Bruno had been allowed to continue and finish that off it would've been a special goal.
flanimal Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Agreed, I was livid at that. If Bruno had been allowed to continue and finish that off it would've been a special goal. They've done that twice now. First against Vaughan when he was one on one a few weeks back, and today against Berner. They are fooking cheats. I hate teams like that.
Tilley Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Watched bits on Sky+ when I got in, could tell the tam put in a shift, Howard looked brilliant. Gutted for Waggy, the guy looked devastated but he shouldn't have been put in that position by Kermorgant, what a fucking idiot he really is. Proud as fuck, next year boys.
