Walshy5 Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 This would be a fantastic signing. Please please please let this happen!

MikeyT Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Just reporting what was said in the Moan in... Nothing positive I'm afraid. On the other hand he could be shacked up with a ladyboy waiting for the cheque to clear Milans account... Indeed, just saw the link to the website and got all excited, but as you say, same as what we heard last night on the radio. Unfortunately.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 He's just the sort of player we need. Quality.
davieG Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 he is gonig to Hull according to skysports As in Skysports.com understands Hull City are closing in on a deal to sign former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Robert Koren. Slovenia international Koren has been available on a free transfer since being released by West Brom at the end of last season following the club's promotion to the Premier League. He impressed during the World Cup finals for his country and is now on the brink of reaching a decision regarding his club future. The 29-year-old has attracted interest from several teams during the summer, with the likes of Blackpool, Celtic, Leeds, Leicester and Wolves all rumoured to be admirers. However, it is now understood that Koren is on the verge of sealing a Bosman move to Hull to boost Nigel Pearson's squad. The Tigers' midfield has seen plenty of change over the summer, with George Boateng, Dean Marney and Stephen Hunt all leaving, while the club are also looking to offload Jimmy Bullard. James Harper and John Bostock have been added to Pearson's ranks, but his options were depleted further on Tuesday by Seyi Olofinjana's loan move to Cardiff City. Pearson is now in a position to increase his numbers by winning the race to snap up the skilful Koren for nothing.
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Gives you more of a bearing of where you are as a club when a player chooses Hull City over you!
Bettsj2 Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Gives you more of a bearing of where you are as a club when a player chooses Hull City over you! That is such a kick in the balls if that happens.
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Note to Nigel Pearson: "You f***ed off from us, now f*** off from buying our transfer targets yeah? You already took Nobby, so just p*** off!" I would also like to take this moment to re-itterate how swearing should be used as a last resort at all times; frustration permitting only.
Walshy5 Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 If he dont come to us please please anywhere but hull
Bettsj2 Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 If he dont come to us please please anywhere but hull I can just imagine the talk on the moan in if this happens.
Ozwin Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 If Koren's got any sense then he'll join us, a team that plays football. Assuming we're in the running to sign him that is.
Stevosevic Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Looks like IF we had Pearson this season we would have seen some great signings this summer. Shame.
Unabomber Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Unless Pearson is planning on changing the way he plays, Koren would much rather suit the game that Sousa is trying to put into place at Leicester. Would be a massive shame if he went to Hull.
Cat Burger Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Maybe Sousa left it too late, there was the quote from Koren's agent which said '...we believe that all the final offers are in now.' I think we're bound for disappointment at this rate so we shouldn't get our hopes up.

He should go.
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Hang on a second! I got told off for an apparent knee jerk reaction because I don't rate Chris Weale and people think that decision was formulated because of just the Palace game? No. Same thing again here mate. Paulo is a good manager, trust me. He has the right ideas. We just need to think, right, he likes passers of the ball. 2 other managers who like(d) passing football? Arsene Wenger BRIAN CLOUGH!!! Trust me, his methods are going to make us win this league, sooner rather than later...

fox123 Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 fook him, he's shit anyway. Unless he signs for us of course, then he's not shit.
Vlad The Impaler Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Shame if it's true, but Gallagher is more than good enough
Cat Burger Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 My God you're right. What the hell is Sousa playing at letting Koren slip through his fingers like that? He should go. Yes that's exactly what I'm saying, you absolute joke character. Sousa has said he wants him, Koren's agent said a few days ago that all the offers are in, I repeat, maybe he has left it too late. You are shit.
Ricey Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Typical. Looking at Hull is like the end of Bullseye when they lost..."have a look what you would have won!"
