Walshy5 Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Bottom of the league and an absolutely shamefull performance yesterday. Is it to early to start calling for his head?
Unabomber Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Yes you moron, we have played 3 games. It will take him time to get someone else's team playing the way he wants it to.

Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 i think critising sousa is a bit harsh, he has pretty much picked the best side avaliable at every game, but the players have failed to deliver. however he has made two very bold statments, saying we will be in the premiership in two years and promising us passing football is suicide because at the minute were 23rd in the leauge and still playing the long ball to howard

I dont give a fook about playing nice football. Id sooner win ugly than loose by trying to play champagne style football and im sure I speak for the majority by saying that.
Simmo86 Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Get a grip moron! We've played 3 bloody games, if its still crap after 10-12 games then we can worry
Salieri Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 You can't be serious starting a thread like this after THREE games. If we are still languishing near the bottom after 10-15 games then fair enough. There's no doubt that there are concerns at the moment but it's still very early days.
Finchy Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 We need negative post ratings, then when someone gets something like a - 20 rating on their profile they get banned?

It's not all about that, at the end of the day he is still working with a squad that another manager has put together over a few years. It is bound to take time for it to all work regardless of playing style. Get a fucking grip, we are still in August. Come back and at like a negative idiot in January if we are still in the shit.
smallpauldj Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 ill start worrying if were down there xmas time but then again a side from the bottom always makes a dash for the top
Matt Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Ah i've missed these threads. After 2 seasons, we're back to normality.

I agree it is a little early to be asking for his head but when did it become standard practice to allow a manager time to get a team playing his way just because it's not his team? That's a fvcking idiotic statement to make. I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned when MM interviewed him for the job................."Oh by the way Milan I'm gonna need 5 or 6 games to get the team to gel"
m00nie Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 any one read the report in the news of the world today?? "daft as it sounds there was evidence here to support sousas emphatic claim that his club will make the premiership within 2 years" "just as encouraging is that leicester looked as potentially effective as they did last season in reaching the play offs under former boss np" it was hard to disagree when sousa added " burnley are not better than us. its not easy to be positive when ypu lose 3-0 but it wasnt our day" even the reporters have faith in us.. just wish few more around here did....
FrankieADZ Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 yeah Sousa out yeah and if the next manager we get in,doesnt win his first match, he should go too. Give me strength. 3 matches in an ur calling for his head. <_< Is this a new record for calling for a manager to go?

All good, except reporters for tabloid papers don't actually watch the matches. I'm still pretty optimistic about Paulo.
body102 Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Sousa out after 3 games , the team will gel and we will make signings in the next week or so . Give the bloke a chance . Or why not get Peter Taylor back then you would have something to really moan about .
Guest Mee-9 Posted 22 August 2010 Posted 22 August 2010 Shouldn't be calling for his head yet. But I'm pissed off. I went to Palace, saw a dreadful first half performance, and saw our team beaten by a mediocre Crystal Palace. I went Burnley, and saw our team hammered by a mediocre Burnley. That's £70 of my hard-earned money, spent on watching shite performances. Yes the days out were good, but I go to watch the football, and not the day out. And ontop of this, payed £125 for my Season Ticket. The middlesborough game looked promising, but there was little to show for how the team played. The team needs a kick up the backside.
