RobHawk Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Really nice model!! If was a bit richer id easily offer a few grand for that! Especially because its Loros!! Great cause!!
Fosse Boy Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Looks great! Wish I had some more dough to put in a bid...
Corky Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 I do like that entrance. Hope it fetches a few quid.
Austin Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Lovely stuff, I could bid but it'd be pointless because it'll go for so much more then I can afford.
mickythehoss Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 Thanks All, You can see updates, usually daily on how the Kop/Decker is progressing or not on Bentleys Roof Cheers for your support
davieG Posted 2 June 2011 Author Posted 2 June 2011 Model of Filbert Street near completion more pictures here - http://www.facebook.com/bentleysrooffanpage
Fox You Forest Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Looks brilliant, the patience needed to make that is well beyond my threshold.
AmyLGK Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 If only I had the money....! Looks awesome! And LOROS is such a fantastic charity. My Grandma spent her final weeks there and my granddad now volunteers there.
topharry123 Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Model of Filbert Street near completion more pictures here - http://www.facebook.com/bentleysrooffanpage Can you put a picture of the model next to this one of the stadium so we can see how close it is . That is truly awesome, great job !
Ashley Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Mickythehoos - quality. Only has one working hand, fair play to the lad I have a lot of respect for him
jonthefox Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Details Filbert St For Sale Original It beats me why this was never incorperated into the new stadium.
davieG Posted 2 June 2011 Author Posted 2 June 2011 It beats me why this was never incorperated into the new stadium. And me!
HEGGSY Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 im only 15 but i'd take Filbert Street over the Walkers any day.
NewquayFox Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Ahhh! Memories of hanging around Filbo when i was a kid in the 70s waiting for the gates to open with 10 minutes to go so i could sneak and watch a bit of the game...
Guest Bilo Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Wow, that is genuinely fantastic. I hope Mick raises a flippin' fortune for LOROS, that's even more of an achievement given he has the use of only the one arm. Outstanding.
leicesterisme Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Wow. That's hugely impressive, he's done a great job.
ajthefox Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 I make a lot of models for my uni course but even I don't think I'd have the patience for that. Absolutely fantastic.
macfox Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Hello Micky has asked me to point out that the full stadium is not for sale, he has donated it to LCFC. He has raised money for this year's Bentley's Roof LOROS appeal by selling advertising hoardings around the ground. Bentley's Roof 2011 LOROS appeal. The first official unveiling will take place at this year's Bentley's Roof Funday on Sunday 28th August at St Andrews FC. The original facade was bought for £190 and again donated to the club, where it is on display at The Walkers, the money helping last year's LOROS appeal. cheers
Charl91 Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 I remember having my birthday at Filbert Street in about 1999 when I was 8 or so. Good times. Very nice work!
