He constantly drops these little bits of non-news and just waits for some idiot to grab hold of them and make a big thing out of it. It very rarely turns out to be anything of significance. He's a journalist - that's what they do, difference is he generally doesn't make stuff up.

Oh c'mon stringers not that bad, were lucky to have such a passionate supporter working so closely with the club, most other clubs have right mardy, non passionate, idiots as their commentators. If any of us heard snippets of info from close to the club we'd want to tell the world too, if they turned out to be true or not. Stringers just a fan, you can't blame him for getting over excited about any LCFC news.

What a tw*t i'm not a big fan, and I don't like journos making stuff up on Twitter for someone to try and spin a story out of it and then if it turns out to be true, only to turn round and say I told you on Twitter first Stringer has shown he's massively out the loop, the Daily Mail broke Sousa's sacking and the Mirror broke Sven's advanced talks. However I do like the idea of a fan having contact, much better than a career journo, never going against the grain and always coming out with the standard club propaganda like the Leicester Mercury Stringer here's about stuff at the same time as FoxesTalk here about stuff

He has a privileged position, and with it goes some responsibility, including not teasing fans with his "I know something that you don't" nonsense. He may or may not be a fan, but I think a lot of the time he's a gobshite.
