Guest Basildon Fox Posted 12 October 2010 Posted 12 October 2010 Although I was at the game I was a steward in the away section when we played Cov on tv on a Monday night when Little was in charge. Iwan Roberts scored just before half time after both teams had a man sent off. Cue what seemed the whole kop singing 'Iwan is a Welshman' (substituting Derby for Coventry) all through half time. It looked awesome and I could see my mates going for it and I really wished I could have been in there too.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 12 October 2010 Posted 12 October 2010 0.38 seconds Spencer Prior Quality Miss those days. What a team we had.
Head Honcho Posted 12 October 2010 Posted 12 October 2010 The Team Keller; Prior, Elliott, Walsh, Guppy; Kamark; Izzet, Lennon, Parker (Fenton, 71); Marshall (Claridge, 30; Campbell, 90), Heskey. Substitutes not used: Whitlow, Cottee, Savage, Andrews (gk). The Place Vicente Calderon Stadium Arganzuela Madrid Only match I've missed that I regret.
Floridafox Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Apart from the obvious classics I would include first home game under MON in Premier League, beating an established top flight Southampton team 2-1 with a young, dynamic Heskey barging through to score. At that moment I believed we were there to stay in the Premier League!
ajthefox Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I'm too young to say europe and I doubt it would have meant as much as it should've. I would've killed to gone to the second leg at cardiff. To be in that away end with all those city fans would've been spectacular. I on the other hand watched it in my halls at uni with mates but no-one understood just how mental it was for me. Forest away, the replay after what happened to Clive Clarke would've been good.
AyewJoking Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Not a Leicester game but t'was when Brazil played Jamaica at the Walkers. I skipped it to go on holiday and missed seeing my idol Ronaldo.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Leicester In Europe. Too young at the time and probably won't happen again for a long time. Someone i know went Belgrade, lots of stories ive heard.

Ford Super Sunday Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Maybe the stories were along the lines of 'I spent fackin loads of money going to Belgrade when the game was in Vienna, what a dunce I am!'
lcfc"weasel" Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 The European aways, I was too young, if it came now, it'd be collossal. Also, the Forest League cup game, Chelsea cup game and Fulham cup games. Also wished I'd gone to more of the away games in League one sounds as if I missed out on some top class awaydays. Also wished I'd have gone to the final in 2000 although I was probably too young to really understand.
Alexikokopops Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 3rd round of the cup in 2006, beating Spurs from 2-0 down with DeVries scoring in injury time. About entered the cat, I really was that over joyed. Probably this game.. I had to work, was devastated I missed it! I got 22% in a University exam thanks to that game. The only exam I failed in three years.
markbsac Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 was out of the country at the time...been to every play off final..missed the against derby...rang home and mum put the phone next to the radio so i could listen to the commentary...cost me more in that phone call than it would have for a ticket !!!
SystonFox Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 im 16 so have spent most of my life watching LCFC at the Walkers Stadium, but looking at videos and seeing pictures i wish i went to Filbert Street more often, i did go to a few games like man utd, liverpool, arsenal, newcastle, aston villa back in 2000 but i can hardly remember them, Filbet Street looked a lot better than the Walkers with the atmosphere and the small enclosed traditional ground, there looked a lot more passion aswell, i just wish i went to more of the big nights there such as red star belgrade and athletico madrid, i also wish i went to watch the leauge cup final where we beat Tranmere 2-0 ....... can someone tell me more about what Filbert Street was like? It were ruddy brilliant laddo.
purpleronnie Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Probably beating derby in the playoff's, I had gone to the 2 previous finals but I was even then becoming a little disillusioned with it all. I remember going golfing whilst it was on.
Heskey2011 Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 For me it's got to be the league cup final 97 (1st) with heskeys late equaliser to force it to a replay...the rest is history!
DB11 Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 I don't regret not going to any football game, any but it would have been nice to go to Chelsea away.
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Stoke away (relegation; though I wouldn't have met some top people had I gone so swings 'n' roundabouts), Cardiff away playoff semi, the games away in Europe back in the day (how fvcking awesome they'd be to re-experience now). Probably regret my attendance at more games than those, though. Easily.
talkfoxes.com Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Probably the Southend away, the party on the beach!
JmorsonLCFC Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Cardiff away in the play off was so amazing, best game of football and best atmosphere I've ever been involved in! Wish I could've gone the F.A. Cup match when we beat spurs 3-2
rico Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 Probably the European games but also the 4-0 demolition of Derby at Pride Park ,to see their fans flooding out after 15 mins must have been brilliant
broughtonblue Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Leicester v hull 2010 (tomorrow) sven's debut, pearsons return, new signings, national media attention and I'm going away!!!
crisp monster Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Can't remember the year - earlry nineties but the Oxford game at home when Tony James's goal kept us up My brother had arranged a trip for a local football team he played for in Bedford to have an end of season jolly down to Brighton and had arranged a friendly against Seaford Town (to stop us drinking all day) One by one people started to drop out and we were down to the bare bones and i just couldn't let him down i'd been to 40 of Citys games that season so to blow out on that one was dreadfull i've seen City in every play off and cup final and i swear i've never been so high as when the full time scores came through in Seaford Towns club house that evening my run out on to the pitch leaping about and praying to the gods was a sight to behold and i probably annoyed the crap out of Brighton that night always wish i'd have been there on the pitch at the fial whistle though
Jakemoore Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 I'm only 16 so I can only really talk about games I was alive for, I wish I had gone to the City v Forest game last season where we got revenge for that 5-1 game we should never mention again. And I wish I went to the 94 play-off final, granted I was only 6 months old but I'm sure I could have appreciated the brilliance of walshy's winner

Great game. Soz.
Jimbo Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 The Sunderland game. Collymores hat trick, and his "new" England strike pairing with Heskey. And how many years did I have to wait until we scored 5 against a team again!? Glad I didn't miss the Scunny game last season
