Hi everyone

Spurs supporter popping in to give you all some news. According to a reliable ITK he will be signing with you permanently in January, dont know for how much but the word is he's yours. I didnt think he'd make it with us, and Kyle Walker seems to be progressing a bit quicker than him.

I'll pop back in if I hear anything else regarding Kyle, for the time being he seems to be playing well for you all so thats great. Hope his good form continues for you all!

Kyle Walker does look the better out of the two but I would be very happy if he signed permanently!

It would be a remarkable signing if we got him permanently. I watched Walker for QPR on Friday and saw them against Brizzle City a while ago too and for me Naughton looks the more accomplished player, but let's hope Harry thinks otherwise and let's Naughton join us for just a million or so.

Would be very happy. Looking forward to january, Sven you better not disappoint you lovely, lovely swede!

When I was at the game, I thought the acrobatic celebration was the best thing ever, when I got home and saw the air guitar though...............

I would love it. He is a fantastic footballer.

I can't remember seeing a right back at Leicester getting forward as much as he does. His goal on Saturday was fantastic and I am sure that any other right full back that we have had at the club in recent previous years wouldn't have been in that position to score.

Not forgetting the fantastic pass from Wellens to create the chance...

Wouldn't call it fantastic, it was pretty simple really.

Thanks for the info, hopefully your sources are accurate...

He is still young and still developing, which of the two is the better player at this instant is probably unimportant, it is how they continue to develope that really matters. Naughton has been very decent for us and would be an important signing, he will get better with more games and better still in a settled back 4.

I do not expect Davies to stay, given his recent performances I am not that bothered and would be happy to see Hobbs reinstated on his prefered side. I think this would work fine so long as Vitor stays fit, Hobbs more basic, robust approach might be what is needed alongside the more acomplished Vitor and Naughton.

Don't think you're being totally fair to him, he has to weight and direct perfectly otherwise that isn't a goal. Anything other than spot on and they have time to get defenders back.

Cheer for the info mate, really hope it's true. Would be nice to finally have a right back we don't feel panic with everytime he's on the pitch. lol

O'Connors cross field ball for Donny's first chance or the pass to split our defence for there goal were fantastic passes.

Fair enough he got it spot on, but it wasn't fantastic though. He had all the time in the world to get it right, any midfielder worth there salt could of made that pass! You would hope he made that kind of pass 99 times out of a 100.

His pass to Dyer for the 4th goal was better, as was Dyer's touch and through ball to vassell

Wellens did everything PERFECT in the build up to Naughton's goal. What more do you want?

I'm not saying he didn't, I just wouldn't call it a fantastic pass. Its one I would of expected him to make.

If he had fooked it up he would of got barrel loads of abuse for not making a simple pass.

Which was of equal perfection as Wellens' to Naughton!

The key thing being the weight of the pass; too weak and Naughton would have to check back his run; too strong and its the keepers or as mentioned time for defenders to get back.

But it was neither of those. It was perfect for Kyle!

Don't get me wrong he played it to absolute perfection and I like Richie Wellens BUT imo I wouldnt label it fantastic. We've got pretty low expectations of our players if thats a fantastic ball. All he had to do was get the weight right just like every other pass anybody has to make in a game!

His ball to Fryatt last season against Blackpool at home with the outside of his foot was what a fantastic ball is, I think even Richie himself would admit his ball to Naughton was a simple pass.

Haha, this has just gotten a bit pedantic. I probably wouldn't call it fantastic either but there was no need to call him on it.

It was a good pass, it would have been very 'leicester' (or should i say 'old leicester' :P) to fook that up and have the attack break down.

Woooo, uni's nearly done, xmas nearly here and we're gonna smash ipswich. Happy days :sge:
