Kyle Naughton - CONFIRMED

Truth is, I don’t know if I will carry on supporting Leicester after he goes. It depends on the way the club treat him. I like the Ivory Coast still because the fans where really supportive to the team, the president of the Ivory FA acted like a gentleman, the players responded to Sven’s new way of doing things in a mature way, and the players praised him for his work after he left. So I like to watch the Ivory now after Sven.

I wouldn’t call myself a glory supporter because I supported the Ivory Coast during the World Cup whilst Sven was the manager. I think if I had chosen Brazil at the start I could be accused of being a glory supporter. I don’t think Ivory was ever going to get any glory. Even if Sven wasn’t getting a cash injection I would still be supporting Leicester right now. I don’t know if there are many people out there that follow a manager, however I know a few people that follow Beckham team to team.

How does that sit with the average Leicester fan lol.

It's fine with me mate , we need all the support we can get, whatever form its in.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the Leicester city rollercoaster ride!

Thanks Tom Tom. Yeah, Im looking forward to it big time. Cant wait to hear the half time result of the Hull match whilst at the Bournemouth game on Saturday.

So far I have to say that the Leicester fans are a hell of a lot more mature than the Aston Villa and Fulham fans. I’m not just saying that to kiss a few arses on here lol. I mean it. You lot respect Sven’s CV but the other fans from the clubs I mentioned where casting his success off as nothing special. It really was bizzar to be honest. 90% on here know what he has done and are prepared to give the old Swede a fair crack at it.

WOW - this signing has just been announced on radio 1's news beat with a little sound bite from Sven thrown in for good measure! Either it's a very slow day in the premiership or people are starting to take notice of our little club :chant:

Mate went to a pompey supporters meeting last night with the cheif executive answering questions. When asked about why the kyle naughton deal fell through he replied that they werent willing to pay a million to take him on loan. So yeh a million for a couple of months loan.

2 and a half months.... lol

He best be good!!

Just because that was on the table at the time doesn't mean we've paid that. Sven will start him tomorrow to get his money's worth!!

Don't they owe Spurs a million though for that keeper deal that fell through, maybe it was a case of... "pay us the million you owe and you can have him".

Kyle Naughton may opt to extend stay at Leicester City

Defender Kyle Naughton has said he would not rule out extending his loan spell at Leicester City.

The 22-year-old, who is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until January, said his time with City had put a smile back on his face, after making just one appearance for Spurs since signing for them in July 2009.

Naughton admitted he did not know what would happen in January, but said he wanted to continue to play regular first-team football.

He also vowed he had more to show the City fans as he continues to regain full match sharpness.

"I am playing with a smile on my face again," he said.

"You train hard all week to prepare for the weekend and you finally get your game, and your boots on. It is great

"It is just nice to feel wanted again. I am starting to get my confidence back and get my match fitness.

"The first couple of games, I was lacking full fitness, and everyone could probably see that because I was dying down in the second half. Now in the second half I am able to kick on a bit more.

"I will only get better. As more games come I will get fitter. I think there is much more to come from me, not just on the defending side but the attacking side as well."

Naughton admitted that if Leicester were challenging for the play-offs in January, staying would be an attractive proposition.

"I am not too sure what will happen or where I will be after January.

"But wherever I am I hope to be playing with a smile on my face, whether that is here, at Tottenham or somewhere else," he said.

"I just want to play like I am now. As long as I am playing I am happy.

"It would be nice to have a complete season but just to be playing is a benefit.

"Leicester are moving in the right directions it seems, and if they got in the play-offs that would be even bigger for me because I would be fighting to stay in the play-offs, which would be a nice feeling."

Glad he's keeping positive and wishful of staying here.

I like the lad. Bags of potential and I'm glad we're bringing it out here at Leicester!

Think our chances of keeping Naughton are higher than QPRs of keeping Kyle Walker on loan.

Naughton didn't get as many matchs as Walker did last season on loan. Think if Harry were to call one back as back up for Hutton it would be Walker as he's got a lot more matches and by the sounds of it more highly rated because of his strenght on the ball. Plus Bradley Orr is coming back from injury for QPR and he they're regular right back.

So Harry please help us out me ol fruit and let us keep him!

Hi everyone

Spurs supporter popping in to give you all some news. According to a reliable ITK he will be signing with you permanently in January, dont know for how much but the word is he's yours. I didnt think he'd make it with us, and Kyle Walker seems to be progressing a bit quicker than him.

I'll pop back in if I hear anything else regarding Kyle, for the time being he seems to be playing well for you all so thats great. Hope his good form continues for you all!
