I'm sure he wouldn't post something on here just because I said something like that.

He was alright at Ipswich a few years back but he is a constant menace whenever he plays for Mexico.

Alot of speculation over summer linking him to some of the biggest clubs in Europe. I'd be very very surprised if he'd even think about coming to us. And Owen is still a squad player for Manchester United for christ sake, on a pay to play contract (he is still, right?), why would fergie want to loan him out? It's not like he's an up and coming who needs the experience. Naughton is a great signing (if confirmed), but let's not get carried away.

Since Van Der Vaart has arrived he's played about 20 minutes of football. If Sven wants him and Redknapp doesn't want him, 3 months of regular football will suit him. Don't under-estimate Sven's ability to attract players. Michael Owen is a different beast though due to wage demands amongst many other reasons.
