Pretty reliable, but even I could have seen this happening. If he happens to not sign in January he'll definitely stay for the whole season but I'm sure it'll be a permanent move in January

Sven Goran Eriksson is preparing a £1.5million bid to bring Tottenham defender Kyle Naughton to ­Leicester.

Naughton has impressed since arriving on loan in October.

Think Naughtons definatly the best out of the loanees we have atm. If we signed him for 1.5 mil it'd be the steal of the century. Cant see us signing Davies or Cunningham that cheap tho, even if don't rate them as highly.

I think it would be more surprising if we didn't get him. Spurs will certainly be looking to offload with the size of their squad, we want him, we've got the money to pay for him and he'd be happy to join us. The only thing that could potentially scupper this one is the asking price, but I think even Spurs know they're not going to get a huge amount for him despite what they paid.

It's not like they'd be too worried about a young prospect slipping either - Naughton's 22 now, and by the sounds of things Kyle Walker is progressing at a slightly quicker rate.
