Kitchandro Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 When I was at the game, I thought the acrobatic celebration was the best thing ever, when I got home and saw the air guitar though............... The air guitar was the best bit
Fox92 Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Don't get me wrong he played it to absolute perfection and I like Richie Wellens BUT imo I wouldnt label it fantastic. If you are going to drag on, I'll just edit it to good then. I haven't got low expectations of our players and I could have said anything on the scale from 1 good to 10 sensational. But I chose fantastic.
Kenners Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Made it into the championship side of the week this week along with Wellens. Would love it if we got him on a permanent. Npower Championship team of the week
ParkLane82 Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Thanks for the welcomes some more news on the price for him Just over £2 million + add ons
sdb Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 thanks mate, how sure of this are you/your source? or 'how reliable are they', if that's how i should put it. ta
ParkLane82 Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 thanks mate, how sure of this are you/your source? or 'how reliable are they', if that's how i should put it. ta Pretty reliable, but even I could have seen this happening. If he happens to not sign in January he'll definitely stay for the whole season but I'm sure it'll be a permanent move in January
thybluefox Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Chatting in the pub earlier to MattyFromLE I said I'd be well happy to have him for at least £3mil, so if this is true I'd be well happy!
Aylestone Fox Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Wouldn't call it fantastic, it was pretty simple really. Have to agree with simmo86, if a pro footballer cant get that pass right he needs sacking off. As it was just right (perfect) it lead to a good break away goal and City are on the march,.....3pts at Ipswich please....
Nick Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Daily Mail reporting Sven making 1.5 million swoop for Jan....... from BBC Gossip.
Jackirius Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Sven-Goran Eriksson is preparing a £1.5m bid to make Tottenham defender Kyle Naughton's loan move to Leicester permanent. Full story: Daily Mirror http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Tottenham-defender-Kyle-Naughton-on-Sven-Goran-Eriksson-s-radar-at-Leicester-article650711.html Sven Goran Eriksson is preparing a £1.5million bid to bring Tottenham defender Kyle Naughton to Leicester. Naughton has impressed since arriving on loan in October. Eriksson, who could have a £10m January kitty, said: “We have plenty of targets – but them accepting to come is totally different.” Will be lucky
Leicester_Loyal Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 1.5 million?! I was expecting 3-5 million tbh.
SMX11 Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 1.5 mil would be a good price for him, I can't see Spurs demanding much more than that, at the end of the day they bought him for well over the odds and done the fatal error of buying on potential. However he is certainly good enough to play in the prem and hopefully it will be with us. :sge:
FoxyPV Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 £1.5m is a bargain considering we paid £2-3m for Waggy.
NGoloMode Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 £1.5m is a bargain considering we paid £2-3m for Waggy. I think £1.5m is a fair price considering Spurs don't need him. £3m for Waghorn was and still is a ridiculous price.
Babylon Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 I think £1.5m is a fair price considering Spurs don't need him. £3m for Waghorn was and still is a ridiculous price. Good job we've only paid £2m then.
NGoloMode Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Good job we've only paid £2m then. Rising to £3mi
mikey54 Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 From the BBC However if Levy rejected the idea of cashing in on Bale, he admitted that the Spurs squad needed trimming - though not immediately."The January transfer window is again upon us. We currently have the largest squad in the Premier League," added the Spurs chairman at Tuesday's AGM. "We shall look to rationalise...Overall, we do not anticipate a busy transfer window."
Corky Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 £1.5 million would be a cracking bit of business.
StanSP Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Rising to £3mi Yeah, so how much have we spent on him so far?
Vestan Pance Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Yeah, so how much have we spent on him so far? Very cheap, £9.95 per goal
Cheese Me Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 £1.5m is spot on, a good deal for both clubs and Naughton gets regular first team football in a team going places. Very happy if we see this going through
MrSpaM Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Think Naughtons definatly the best out of the loanees we have atm. If we signed him for 1.5 mil it'd be the steal of the century. Cant see us signing Davies or Cunningham that cheap tho, even if don't rate them as highly.
Joe. Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 I think it would be more surprising if we didn't get him. Spurs will certainly be looking to offload with the size of their squad, we want him, we've got the money to pay for him and he'd be happy to join us. The only thing that could potentially scupper this one is the asking price, but I think even Spurs know they're not going to get a huge amount for him despite what they paid. It's not like they'd be too worried about a young prospect slipping either - Naughton's 22 now, and by the sounds of things Kyle Walker is progressing at a slightly quicker rate.
StanSP Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 Rumour has it that he'll be asking for 25k per week. Plus substantial bonuses if we get promoted. Bit much, but worth it. Figure has been made up
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 December 2010 Posted 15 December 2010 All footballers are on stupidly ridiculuos amounts of money however as long as they play their guts out for Leicester City thats all you can ask - NOT like Dennis "last pay packet" Wise and other wasters like him. Come On City sign Naughton up!!
