Guest bennytwohats Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Maybe we don't want him because we're getting Shaun Wright-Phillips? I was going to make a new thread but it's probably bollocks and I would embarrass myself a lot by doing that so thought I'd stick it here. I've heard he's been spotted down the ground today. We can dream can't we? He still gets occasional gametime at city and everything i've read from him suggests that he is prepared to stay and fight for his place. Can't see that one happening imo.
The Doctor Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 In talks with Crawley Town http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/crawley_town/9112362.stm steve evans? That the crook that use to be in charge of boston?
Alexikokopops Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 steve evans? That the crook that use to be in charge of boston? That's the badger. A right weasel.
The Doctor Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 That's the badger. A right weasel. should never have let him back into football, Not like he did the whole finance fiddling thing just the one time either.
Criggers Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Ah well. The "source" my mate has got at the walkers bleary has bad eyesight. SWP is in the man city team tonight for Europa league. Better sign Pires up!
JmorsonLCFC Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 You have a dream and then the big boys come in and spoil it
AyewJoking Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Apart from Walcott and the kitman just tells him what to do.
AmyLGK Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Just to re-iterate what many of you have already said...CRAWLEY TOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heskey2011 Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 IMHO, Niced to be linked with and a step up from Solano last year but judging by our 2 new signings Sven can do better. Things are changing fast at the City last week we'ed have been happy with Stoor yet Naughton is a notch up from him its clear Sven has his sights on more players soon, what's the limit on loan signings anyone? Paul to be honest every time i saw solano at right back he was fantastic, organising the back 4 and putting great deliveries into the box.
Babylon Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 to be honest every time i saw solano at right back he was fantastic, organising the back 4 and putting great deliveries into the box. To be fair you only saw him once.
Guest shearfox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 My Info says the Pires deal is on. With Crawley Town has competition I seriously have my doubts he will come here.
dave_the_fox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/crawley_town/9112362.stm No deal?
Ric Flair Posted 27 October 2010 Posted 27 October 2010 Caught wind of something by chance, but Sven is meant to be meeting Pires and his agent in London today. We fookin need him.

davieG Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 Us, Villa or complete bollocks http://www.tribalfootball.com/arsenal-legend-pires-weighs-offers-aston-villa-leicester-1234921?
Ric Flair Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 Sven says it's a no go. Fook him then. When did Sven say that? Might not be a bad thing.
Babylon Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 Fook him then. When did Sven say that? Might not be a bad thing. At the press conference today, it's on Stringers Twitter.
Cropwellfox Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 According to French reports Pires has turned us down Pires So depending on which side you believe either Rensing trial not successful and Pires no go, or both have turned us down.
MikeyT Posted 8 November 2010 Posted 8 November 2010 According to French reports Pires has turned us down Pires So depending on which side you believe either Rensing trial not successful and Pires no go, or both have turned us down. I can believe Pires turning us down, but why would Rensing train with us in the first place if he had no intention of signing for us if it was offered. Only thing i can imagine is money.
Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2010 Posted 9 November 2010 Looks like there might be a bit left in the Pires story according to todays Mercury. Sven looks like he's forcing Pires hand and rightly so. If he's serious about still playing football at 37 then he should snap our hands off as he'll not get a better chance than at us. If he goes to Villa it's purely for an easy gig as I can't see him displacing Downing or Albrighton.
skinnydipper Posted 9 November 2010 Posted 9 November 2010 Don't want Pires. He's nearly old enough to be Tops dad.
