Yes he did mate, but this thick twate reckons he shows no passion and cant be arsed to play for the team, but when he does show passion by trying to get the ball back of a fooking cheat, who thinks its ok to lay on it,he gets called for that.

This person doesnt like any of the team,he even slates Dyer who in my opinion we miss when hes not thier

You have a real problem with debate don't you, you can't do it without being crass and abusive.

Sven wants players with pace.

This love fest with Fryatt and Dyer is ridiculous.

They are both adequate players, who on their day, can look good.

They aren't a long term answer.

I hope I'm proved wrong, but I've seen nothing to think I will be.

I think it's fair to say Sven wants pace ON THE FLANKS in order to SUPPORT THE STRIKERS UP FRONT.

Apart from Dyer, we don't really have a consistent midfielder who can add a bit of pressure from the sides.

N'Guessan is indeed too much "hit 'n miss".

There is no escaping it's 1:5.

Sven knows and that is why Sven is looking to bring in more strikers, I can't see the problem.

Yep, you still want to bring up when he was played out wide under Holloway when we were relegated, and he didn't score that many? If it makes you happy, then go for it mate

Truth is, over the last 2 full seasons, he's been our best striker. He may well be this year aswell, if he gets a run. If not, then Sven might want him out. If he's not performing, then he can go, but whilst he's still scored more than any other striker we have this season, i don't see what benefit we would have from getting rid?

Fryatt still has a point to prove but he still went to thialand nd probably Wud of played against them if he weren't ineligible nd he still is a proven goalscorer in the past few seasons which were lacking

No i dont mate and i have never been aggressive to anyone, only you.

You just go on and on about your stats and think youre a football manager, and you only come on here to wind people up to get a reaction as you are an attention seeker.

You carry on with your pathetic vendetta at nearly every player we have if it makes you feel all big and grown up.

I will just keep supporting them,if thats alright with you.

You maybe right about fryatt, but im willing to at least give him a chance before i right him off

FRYATT needs to step it up if he wants to stay here and be part of an ambitious club.

I think he has the ability to score us lots of of goals but he won't last long unless he starts showing that over the next couple of months.

He needs to catch fire and quickly!!

Ever since that nasty injury (then losing a lot of weight + putting it back on after this) he has been nowhere near his best for us. He needs to go.

Came on. Scored 2. Sent off. All in the space of 20 minutes.

Scored 2 in 20 minutes. 'Nuff said.

Fryatt will be foaming at the mouth to prove his worth In my opinion seeing all these new players and players being linked with us I'm sure the whole squad is so yeah I personally can't wait for fryatt to come back from suspension

I haven't read the thread, but I'm willing to bet the majority of my savings that Honda Raposa has said "1 goal every five appearances speaks for itself", or words to that effect, at least six or seven times in this thread.

Since his injury he has 5 goals in 10 games, and about half of those games have been from the bench.

Moving forward, is Fryatt ever going to be more than Waghorn's sub?

I like Fryatt, he makes the sort of runs which defenders hate which is obviously good for us but you have to assume that Sven is going to play his own man in Vassel, and bringing Howard on as a sub to mix it up or simply to hold the ball up if we're winning did & will work well.

I like Fryatt but I can't see him being more than Waghorn's sub, coming on in the later stages or covering for him if he's injured and stuff.

Fryatt is so frustrating he has shown he can do it, but his only consistency has been in League 1. It could be argued that his missed chances relegated us in the first place, and he has doubtless cost us points this season, everyone is quick to blame the defence but if we stuck away the chances we have we could cope with some frailties at the back.

Without doubt he has the qualities but I do think the next few games will be important to his future at the club. He should be chomping at the bit to do well, hopefully he will and then Sven can take sometime thinking about additions. We need 4 good strikers (easy to say not easy to get!!!) available and some are going to have to be impact players from the bench. In the future I see him as that, I hope he can prove me wrong.

Erikson may want two strikers for each position - I also think Vassel will be used on the right not as a striker predominantly.

We start to get three games in 7 days some weeks and we need depth in squad.

DV on the right.

Sooper as the impact big-man with 15-20 mins to go.

Waghorn & Fryatt interchangeable but can play play together if...

Soon to be signed big man with pace gets a knock.

I don't think we should sell anybody - If I was Waghorn or Howard or new big man - I'd be running my ass off in training and in matches knowing that there was a 20 goal a season striker nipping at my heels to get into the side.

We don't need the money so why sell him?

fryatts record while we've been in the championship

95 games played (adding up all sub apperances to convert into complete games), 31 goals scored.

Fryatt championship goals to game ratio 1:3.064516129 or simply 1:3. Not 1:5, 1:3.

112 games divided by 23 goals = a ratio of 1:5.

I think Fryatt is better than Waghorn. Play him in the right way, and he can tear defences in two. The start of last season is a prime example, everyone was worried where goals would come from if Fryatt got injured!

He's a quality striker, but you need to give him the right service, and play him with Howard in my opinion. Fryatt feeds on through balls and flick-ons.
