rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 For me it has to be weller. a player who terrorised defences and scored a fair few. someone our current crop badly needs atm
The Doctor Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Muzzy Izzet - not much else to choose from from what i've seen.
dpjfox Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 David Nish more recently Matt Elliott (who i named my son after!, well couldnt call him Nish!)
cc_star Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Ian Ormandroyd or Gary Coatsworth No, errrm Steve Walsh for many reasons including his battles with Steve Bull, and for just wearing his heart on his sleeve especially the fantastic time when he played up front
TheUltimateWinner Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Richard Stearman - True patriot to the club, Remember he was the only player who clapped the crowd the season we got relegated
ACF Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Unfortunatlely, I've never really experienced the highs with Leicester, however, I loved Tiatto, even though he was shit. De Vries aswell, because he was a beast on FIFA, remember playing with him and having a 150 goal season just for him, with Hammond getting about 125. Currently, Fryatt, Tunchev, Bruno and Gally. EDIT: How the hell have I missed Kingy and Hobbs? I love them.
Criggers Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 I don't think I could name just one player, would be very hard. But since I "grew up" during the MON era I have always had soft spots for some of the slightly more unsung players of that time. Guppy was a legend, the only player to play every minute of every game in a PL season? Or something like that, also played at every level possible for England. And that goal against Chelsea... And Kasey Keller, probably because I played rugby and the only place i tended to do any good on a football pitch was between the sticks. Shame i'm only about 5'9" Not sure how Shay Given manages it to be honest. Frank Sinclair for his a-mazing own goals.
Wymsey Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Matt Oakley..... jk its probably dave gibson...no......actually its errrr Savage.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 From all the players I have seen there are a few I'd put up there and wouldnt reall want to name a favourite. But I'd have to say Izzet, just for the length of time he was with us for and what a great player he was. Him slightly ahead of Matt Elliott.
Finnegan Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Up until about under-11s I played between the sticks and was a massive Keller fan. Tough call otherwise, lots I've liked over the years. I suppose Tony Cottee would be up there with Steve Guppy.
dorsetfox Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 well since i started watching around 86 or so there have been a few really enjoyed watching gary mac play and loved his little love triangle with him the corner flag and peter weir every game two players who showed what leicester were all about and gave their heart and soul in every game had to be stevie walsh and robbie savage and for impact loans and the way the fans took to him that would have to be kevin campbell how i wish we could have signed him perm there have been so many
muzzy1981 Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 For me I can't decide between Neil Lennon or Muzzy think i'll just say both because they went together like salt and pepper!
Poakey Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Gary Lineker,Gary Mac,Tommy Wright,Steve Thompson and Neil Lennon all heros from different eras. My Biggest though was Tony James for that goal.
