A player wants to leave and a Premiership club has approached a member of the coaching staff

Thought Berner would of assessed the situation in at a later date, not now. Unless Sven has admitted he is seeking new left backs come january.

If Sven gets 10 mill as compensation, maybe. lol

Blackburn has nothin to lure Sven away with.....

Premier League football is enough for some managers. Megson when he went to Bolton for example...

I can't see Sven going though, although Paddy Power do have him as one of the favourites...

A part of me would die if BB left the club in January. He was an integral part of our League One season & the half-quest for Wembley.

He's still here to fight for the job as the No.1 left-back, so give it a shot, Bruno.

But I guess he's going back to Switzerland, hired by either FC Basle, Young Boys Berne or FC Zurich - they're the only ones able to pay his wages.

To anybody else who can't be bothered to read the article and just presuming it's about Sven

IT'S NOT ABOUT SVEN FFS!

I kind of guessed that when they used the term 'a member of the coaching staff', Are we going to have people saying Sven is on his way out every single time a prem manager gets sacked?

Cba to see if its already been posted.

RobTannerMercBerner wants out at Leicester. Newcastle want chris powell. See today's Mercury.

Shame if both go, but I can understand why Bruno wants to move. Not playing and doesn't know how much longer left in his career.

Big fan of Chrissy P but Newcastle are a bigger club and it is tempting.

Stressful morning? Sven's barely been mentioned and when he has it's just been about Prem teams who have sacked their managers snooping. Should another thread be started to accommodate that or will you allow it to be lightly discussed in here?

Can't blame Bruno.

I'd be surprised if Powell left, after the way Newcastle treated Chris Hughton, being the PFA Chairman and all. Also, he can learn a lot more from Sven compared to Pardew.

We'll see but it may be that Sven fancies being the first manager to realise the full potential of a club like Leicester - it is greater than at least 9 or10 Premiership clubs and than some of our own fans seem to realise.

If, after years of dross, we can get 27,000 people watching an ordinary championship match at the height of a recession and in cold weather just before Christmas (even acknowledging the cut-price incentive) I don't see clubs like Blackburn as being any great lure.

And our potential has far more encouraging factors than just attendances.

Thought Bruno would have more fight in him than that, unless of course Sven as told him he can go. Fryatt got abuse for maybe wanting to leave instead of fighting for his place but Bruno gets best wishes.

As for Powell, apart from being a top man, good role model etc, I think he's replaceable.
