Karljohn Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Sven to Blackburn and he's taking Lamey, Neilson, Moreno and Tom Kennedy with him.
Finnegan Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 It wouldnt say coaching staff if it was the manager.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Stowell to Wolves?? Obvious links....
drc Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 From talkingballs The back page of the Mercury says it's Berner.
Simmo86 Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Think it will be Powell to Newcastle, just hope he doesnt get fooked about up there. Deserves better than that! Geordies want Powell Bruno
Karljohn Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 If true then I wish Bruno all the best. Would be dissapointed to see Powell go, saw him as "next in line" after SGE.
Callabinho Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Major loss if powell goes:( But if he does then Sven will obviously want a high profile replacement!
drc Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Now we need Powell as emergancy-backup for Cunningham at the left-back position
buzzy Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 read te link for f**Ks sake sven as not been mentioned powell and berner
Petchy Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Thought Berner would of assessed the situation in at a later date, not now. Unless Sven has admitted he is seeking new left backs come january.
MrSpaM Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 If Bruno wants to leave then fair enough. would be ABSALUTLY GUTTED if Chris left for Newcastle though.
OmnipresentSam Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 If Sven gets 10 mill as compensation, maybe. Blackburn has nothin to lure Sven away with..... Premier League football is enough for some managers. Megson when he went to Bolton for example... I can't see Sven going though, although Paddy Power do have him as one of the favourites...
The Doctor Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Blackburn's defence are a bunch of old women , so Sven might just be tempted sounds more like the job that will move rooney into management than lure away sven.
Leicfox Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Beckham will be the nx Blackburn manager, you heard it here 1st.
MC Prussian Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 A part of me would die if BB left the club in January. He was an integral part of our League One season & the half-quest for Wembley. He's still here to fight for the job as the No.1 left-back, so give it a shot, Bruno. But I guess he's going back to Switzerland, hired by either FC Basle, Young Boys Berne or FC Zurich - they're the only ones able to pay his wages.
MrSpaM Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 To anybody else who can't be bothered to read the article and just presuming it's about Sven http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/news/Newcastle-line-Leicester-City-coach-Chris-Powell/article-3000282-detail/article.html IT'S NOT ABOUT SVEN FFS!

I kind of guessed that when they used the term 'a member of the coaching staff', Are we going to have people saying Sven is on his way out every single time a prem manager gets sacked?
skinnydipper Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 I kind of guessed that when they used the term 'a member of the coaching staff', Are we going to have people saying Sven is on his way out every single time a prem manager gets sacked? Yes
Jackirius Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Cba to see if its already been posted. RobTannerMercBerner wants out at Leicester. Newcastle want chris powell. See today's Mercury. about 1 hour ago via Mobile Web
Corky Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Shame if both go, but I can understand why Bruno wants to move. Not playing and doesn't know how much longer left in his career. Big fan of Chrissy P but Newcastle are a bigger club and it is tempting.
Haydos Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 To anybody else who can't be bothered to read the article and just presuming it's about Sven http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/news/Newcastle-line-Leicester-City-coach-Chris-Powell/article-3000282-detail/article.html IT'S NOT ABOUT SVEN FFS! Stressful morning? Sven's barely been mentioned and when he has it's just been about Prem teams who have sacked their managers snooping. Should another thread be started to accommodate that or will you allow it to be lightly discussed in here?
Ricey Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Can't blame Bruno. I'd be surprised if Powell left, after the way Newcastle treated Chris Hughton, being the PFA Chairman and all. Also, he can learn a lot more from Sven compared to Pardew.
Thracian Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 We'll see but it may be that Sven fancies being the first manager to realise the full potential of a club like Leicester - it is greater than at least 9 or10 Premiership clubs and than some of our own fans seem to realise. If, after years of dross, we can get 27,000 people watching an ordinary championship match at the height of a recession and in cold weather just before Christmas (even acknowledging the cut-price incentive) I don't see clubs like Blackburn as being any great lure. http://stats.checkyourodds.co.uk/Premiership-Attendances-Home.php And our potential has far more encouraging factors than just attendances.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 Thought Bruno would have more fight in him than that, unless of course Sven as told him he can go. Fryatt got abuse for maybe wanting to leave instead of fighting for his place but Bruno gets best wishes. As for Powell, apart from being a top man, good role model etc, I think he's replaceable.
