Jimmy Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Daily Mail Leicester have made an enquiry to take Manchester United keeper Tomasz Kuszczak on loan.
Jimothy Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Linky Would be surprised. With van der sar at 40 and suffering from flu at the moment I think he'll get a fair share of games over the next few weeks. Depends how much Fergie rates this Lindegaard guy he's signed I guess.
milan_foxes Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Just seen this on Stringers Twitter, would love it too happen.

Depends how much Fergie rates this Lindegaard guy he's signed I guess. I would prefer Lindegaard! He really is quality and how he has gone under the radar for so long is a bit of a mystery. Doesn't seem very likely though. That said, Weale will do just fine...
Jackirius Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 I just saw this pop up on Bentleys aswell, not going to happen.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Would be great but not going to happen to be fair!! Oh well - Weale isnt doing too bad at the mo
hackneyfox Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 The Mail haven't been too far off recently. Sven will surely want at least a back up to Weale? ;-)
Jackirius Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 The Mail haven't been too far off recently. Sven will surely want at least a back up to Weale? ;-) Yep, but it is one thing enquiring about him and another thing actually getting him. Weale has proved his worth tonight in my opinion. But we do need a better reserve keeper than Logan.
Jimmy Posted 10 January 2011 Author Posted 10 January 2011 what does weale have to convince Sven? I don't have a problem with him looking around just as long as the player he brings in is superior and preferable isn't a loan deal
ian_marshall Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Looks like Adler's off to Utd, so surely Kuszczak will be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford?
bjblyth Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 I hope we don't sign another keeper. Weale hasn't really put a foot wrong for me this season, just look at todays performance too! He made some cracking stops against some of the worlds best and most expensive players. In this league, Chris Weale is a great number one and I hope he stays first choice for a long time yet.
LCFCmatt Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 I wouldnt mind him but we should stick with weale for now. Also man utd would be without a goalie as van der sar is injured i think
STUHILL Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 This interview may add to the rumour! Has Sven saying he was on the phone to Ferguson about players!! http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,16489_6641434,00.html
Ozwin Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 I've never really rated him tbh, I vaguely remember him being alright for West Brom (was it?) but yeah, always been a bit average for me.
MPH Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 I've never really rated him tbh, I vaguely remember him being alright for West Brom (was it?) but yeah, always been a bit average for me. did they sign him from Derby.... if its the same keeper i am thinking of. then he would be very good at this level.... just feel sorry for Weale who i thought did everything asked of him today. against a top prem team.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 This interview may add to the rumour!Has Sven saying he was on the phone to Ferguson about players!! http://www.skysports...6641434,00.html Hmm Interesting. Not the biggest Kuszczak fan but maybe Fergie could be persuaded to loan us Fabio to solve our potential Left-Back problem. It's not like he's really getting a look in and I even heard that United have been looking at signing another LB from Benfica. I wouldn't be surprised if Sven has had a word.
Finnegan Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 I don't really get the Weale bumlove. For every good stop there's some hilarious distribution or a woeful attempt at dealing with a high ball or cross. He's tidy for this level and I like him, don't get me wrong, but it's obvious that Sven has the resources to be looking to improve almost every position on the field - why would you not want better if we can find it?

Wonder who they are after?

The interview was in december and it was a scouting file for the doncaster game & Also Interview with kuszczak from sky sports: The Poland international has been linked with a loan move to Leicester City, but Kuszczak's focus is on playing more regularly at Old TraffordThere has been all this speculation about my future but I am hopeful I can play more," said Kuszczak. "There has always been competition for this club and there always will be. This is how football works. "I intend to do well all the time when I get a chance to play. That is what would give me a future at United."

dannythefox Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Lets get a quality striker sorted out theres no point wasting money. Weales doing a good job.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 I've said it before and I'll say it again... Logan Bailly. Outstanding Belgian keeper who's playing for Mogledasudsdbach or whatever they're called... he may cost a few £million, but he'd be worth it.
