Lottery Ticket numbers please StanSP? lol. What a brilliant win, didnt get down today after all (wasnt working so all the more disappointing!!!) but sounded good?

Aha I had Gally down as first scorer and over 2.5 goals so won some money too!

We sounded alright in second half. Towards the end of the first half though, we dropped the tempo and they got back in to it. Lucky that we went in at half-time winning to be honest. Seems like we had our shooting boots on today though!

A caller on RL said that a down-side was Fryatt scoring a hat-trick for Hull. Is it just me, or does no-one else care what he does? So what if he's scored a hat-trick? Look where we are!!

Absolutely delighted!! Only slight dampener is that I told my dad at half 2 this afternoon it would be 4-1 but I didnt get to the bookies in time to get my bet on :frusty:

Listening to the Barnsley commentators was quite insightful, not only were they quite good but it was interesting to hear what they thought of us without an preconceptions or emotional involvement

they said Bamba & Mee looked a good partnership

Said our finishing was a different class

Said that this probably the best they've played away & against another side would certainly have got something

said that its the best they've played against leicester and the result was their worst

said that our attacking play was a different class

All in all top stuff, keep the wins clocking up & we'll be amongst it before too much longer, shame that Forest are also on a run & QPR are just so far away

Nice to get an honest (different) perspective on things.

Tough few games ahead, we can get through them though. Rather have games played then in hand, not worried about those around us with games to play. Well done City & Sven

Surely it'd be better for us if QPR beat Forest or at even draw.

We're gonna win the league lads. **** 2nd place. We're the best team in this league. I have bobs on the title thats why. :dunno:

... Ideal scenario would be both teams go in to administration and get relegated. But I would rather it got bunched up than QPR pull away.

Why are some people worried about other teams?? Just enjoy the ride !! Looks like we're heading for them playoffs but if it doesnt happen then we've made a good go of it !!!

Fvcking yes.

We weren't all that good for large parts of the game in my opinion, but turned it on a few times and scored 4 superb goals. Delighted.

To add, Barnsley were good up to the final third, and our back line had them offside about 15 times.

Leicester maintained their steady climb up the Championship table thanks to a fine win over Burnley on Saturday.

It's woeful the amount of times they get things wrong. When you get teams wrong you know you're having a nightmare.

4-1 Flattered us a bit. Barnsley could argue they were the better side in the first half, oh well tough shit Barnsley. Everyone of our goals were outstanding.

Yakubu was shit though,he didn't look fit to me, no pace and a poor touch. I'd have took him off for Dyer and put Vassell in the middle.

They're not edited on first publish, it'll be corrected later.

There's a BBC policy that will say something like, within X amount of minutes of the final whistle they have to have published a short report and after Y minutes, the full thing.

It's all about getting news out at a competitive speed, corrections can always be made later. When your policy is revolved heavily around pace and not accuracy then you're always going to make mistakes. One journalist probably wrote half of the reports in the Championship in the space of about ten minutes.

I think that people forget that the other teams we meet have to put their best players on tha Yak and Vassell. That means the other players as Gallagher, King and so on gets more room to do their thing.

:scarf: By the way.... Massive win today as we are going with a momentum. Up we go. :scarf:

Having not shot from range for about 5 years, it's lovely to see shots raining in on goal, and most hitting the target.

thought it was a solid performance from us today except that dodgy 5 mins spell after we'd scored then they scored and then Haynes has one cleared off the line. other than that I have to admit we did look good.

All the goals where bloody good mind, can't remember a game in which we score so many well taken goals.

Thought the half time entertainment was good too :P:whistle:

Could not agree more. Yakubu may sometimes look sluggish, disinterested but opposition players fear the man, freeing up other City players to do the business. What the rest of this League would give to have the Yak in their team! Still SIXTEEN games to go. A lot football yet to be played but right now we're on the ascendancy

good win and given the saves the barnsley keeper made in the second half it could easily have been more. On the flip side we were lucky to go in to the break in front - not seen the replay yet but i'm unsure about their disallowed goal and naughton did well to get back and clear that one off the line.

The Yak had a poor game i felt, didn't get that much service but he wasted a glorious chance in the second half and should really have created one for dyer rather than shooting.

Decent performance today, not our best, but decent. The goals however were brilliant. Players I'd pick out would be Naughton, Bamba, and Gally. Didn't think Yakubu was that good today, bit slow and lazy. We'd have had another if he'd actually decided to pass during that chance in the 2nd half when we had both Dyer and someone else there too.

Still 3 points off the play-off spots but at least we're holding on, keeping up the pressure, and hopefully someone will slip up. Goal difference improving, but still some work to do. I'd be gutted if we missed out on promotion or the play-offs just because of the GD damage that'd already been done when Sven came onboard.
