Whatcha thinking?

Ricardo - 6 - Didn't fill me with much confidence.

Naughton - 7 - Had an alright game.

Bamba - 8 - Big bump.

Mee - 9 - MOTM, great game.

Aanholt - 8.5 - Great game also.

King - 7.5 - Well taken goal

Wellens - 7 - Not his usual amazing self

Oakley - 7 - Alright

Gallgher - 8 - Good

Yakubu - 8 - Held the ball up pretty well, nice goal.

Vassell - 8 - Did well on the right

Maybe a little harsh but 2nd half we'd have been in some trouble if not for the 2 CB's, imo.

Ricardo 5 - Completely unconvincing.

Naughton 7 - Good first half, shaky second.

Bamba 8 - Solid.

Mee 8 - As above.

van Aanholt 8 - Excellent going forward, decent defensively.

Oakley 8 - Won a lot of 50:50s, decent distribution too.

Wellens 7 - Not his best game, but busy as always.

King 7 - Another great finish to cap off a tidy first half. Anonymous in the second.

Vassell 7 - Worked hard as usual. I still struggle to see how he ever played for England.

Yakubu 8 - Decent hold up play and a freaking ridiculous goal.

Gallagher 7.5 - 2 assists and at times threatened to put himself about.

On another note, it was very strange seeing someone "else" wearing the number 12 shirt when Bruma came on.

Ricardo - 6 - Couldn't really see why Weale was dropped considering his last couple of games. Wasn't impressed with Ricardo at all if i'm honest, his distribution was poor and he didn't really command his area very well. But it was his first game so that may sound rather harsh.

Naughton - 7 - Decent enough game. Class player who's produced some great performances since we snapped him up. Decent enough today and he wass always another option willing to receive the ball.

Bamba - 8 - Solid today, him and Mee dominated defensively, more so in the second half obviously. Composed as usual and I was impressed with his determination to carry on after colliding with Mee, t'was pretty nasty.

Mee - 8 - Same as above. Probably just edged it to the MOTM award.

PVA - 7.5 - Was very impressed with him today. Bags of pace and can whip in a lovely cross as well, looking forward to seeing him more regularly.

King - 7.5 - Took his goal exceptionally well, got involved and put himself about when necessary. Showed his real class a couple of times holding on to the ball in the centre of the park when being hustled by the Derby midfield. Think he'll be in the Prem sooner rather than later, hoping thats with us though!

Wellens - 6.5 - Not as influential as usual. Average performance. Didn't dictate play like he usually does, but he played well enough.

Oakley - 7.5 - Really thought he played some good stuff today, was good defensively and offered us much more than earlier on in the season when I thought it might be the end for him. Not his biggest fan but I was impressed today.

Gallagher - 7.5 - 2 assists today. Composed and classy, looks good with PVA in support. Fantastically weighted ball for Kings goal.

The Yak - 7 - Scored a fantastic goal, other than that he didn't seem to do a lot, held the ball up well on occasions.

Vassell - 6.5 - Didn't think it was his best game, although he took his offside goal very well. A bit more composure like that infront of real goal-scoring and i'm sure he'll score a few before the end of the season. Got caught offside cheaply a couple of times today.

Overall - Fantastic 3 points on the road against what was a poor, poor Derby side. However, thought in the first half we showed real class, and in the second we showed we could grind out a result. Hopefully now we'll push ourselves into the play-off places soon, got a few tricky games coming up though!

Ricardo 6 - Positive in that he is clearly decent on the ball, but everything else smacked of potential calamity.

Naughton 6 - Thought it was his poorest game for a while. Touch was poor and scuffed numerous passes. Solid enough defensively

Bamba 7 - Solid enough although some poorish distribution at times.

Mee 8 - Headed everything, cleared everything and always seems to be in the right position. Looking decent now.

Van Aanholt 8 - Tore their right side to shreds 1st period. Tenacious in the tackle and pacey.

Oakley 7 - Thought he was one of our poorer performers first half, heavy touches and slightly ponderous in possession. Much improved 2nd, which surprised me considering how the game played out.

Wellens 7 - Generally quiet but always decent in possession and on the half turn to set up attacks.

King 7.5 - Outplayed Savage in several midfield tussles and again scored with a classy finish.

Vassell 6.5 - Decent movement and strength on the ball but again looked slightly lost out wide.

Yakubu 7 - Looked laboured first 20 minutes then showed Premier League class in one swift turn and shot. Still looks like he could get a bit sharper in possession.

Gallagher 7.5 - Used the ball well and perfectly played assist for King. Decent again

Ricardo 5 (I was surprised when this fellow replaced Weale after the way he'd been playing. Before the game we discussed why it might happen and plumbed for distribution. In the first half Ricardo fed the ball out very accurately and thoughtfully. Second half he was appalling, Three or four times his schoolboyish kicks might have been returned with interest and we might well have conceded a goal out of nothing. Can't see that he contributed much to the clean sheet because, from memory, he didn't have a single shot to save).

Naughton 7 (Steady contribution to our clean sheet).

Bamba 8.5 (Heroic. Made one vital Kisnorbo-style block, showed distributive composure and was so commanding in helping prevent Derby getting a sniff of goal).

Mee 8.5 (Combined perfectly with Bamba. Twice put his body on the line with blocks and his head in the way to relieve other situatiuons. Always in the thick of the action - and with great effect).

Aanholt 7.5 (Better today in every way).

King 8,75 (Man of the Match again. finished one of the finest footballing goals you could see - a move which progressed the length of the pitch from goalkeeper through various passes and into the net. King's final run and characteristically simple finish were as clinical and they were sublime. Made other dangerous runs, mostly passed the ball well, won important headers and looked generally opn top of his game apart from a couple of uncharacteristic miskicks).

Wellens 6 (Disappeared second half)

Oakley 7.25 (Solid shift but we lost or sacrificed almost all our passing and moving second half)

Gallagher 8 (Decent game, two more assists and contributed in defence)

Yakubu 7.75 (Quality goal out of nowhere. I'd wonder if any of his colleagues could have scored it. Sound enough first half but anonymous later).

Vassell 6 (Not enough effect again. He might have good close control but Dyer seems far more dangerous).

I'm surprised some of you are giving Ricardo a 6, I don't think he deserves anything more than a 4, I thought he was shocking, he scared the crap out of me tbh, I thought he optimised all that's wrong with continental keepers, he punched the ball when he could have caught it, and the one time he did catch the ball he dropped it again straight away :/ he also had a poor kick throughout the second half, although he was good with ball at feet when passing out of his area. Ohh and he was way to far off his goal line for my liking.

Ricardo- 7.5 Did the stuff with his feet well but wasn't convincing in the air.

Naughton- 8 Looked a threat going forward and was solid going back.

Bamba 8 Usual rock at the back and got a rock on his head for his troubles.

Mee- 8 Consistent in his tackles solid at the back and created a couple of chances with his clearances.

Van A- 7 as usual didn't fill me with confidence looked good going forward but poor defensively.

King- 8 looked good linking attacking play together and supporting the strikers. Took his chance well.

Wellens- 7.5 seemed quiet today I think it was to do with he had to play more defensively because the tackles from Abe were missed today.

Oakley- 7.5 good in his tackles for a change but his distribution was't always great and he had the touch of an elephant.

Gallagher- 8.5 Looked very good linking the attacking play, making space and a good selfless assist for Kings goal.

The Yak 8- Played well great goal and held the ball up well.

Vassel 7.5- quiet game really caught offside alot but linked up well with naughton when he got the ball and was a threat when he cut inside.

Bamba - 8 - Got a HUGE bump on the head for his very solid game

Mee - 9 - Excellent performance, MOTM

Van Aanholt - 7 Looked good linking up with Gallagher

Oakley - 6 - Quite quiet, Abe should return

Wellens - 7 - Looked cool and composed as ever

King - 7 - Not his busiest game, but great play for his goal

Gallagher - 7 - Looked busy all evening

Vassell - 6 - Still isn't being used in his correct position

Yakubu - 8 - Held up play very well, and a world class finish

Dyer - 6 - Didn't do that much, but his speed can pay dividance

Waghorn - 5 - Still getting the attention of the Blue Army

Bruma - 6 - Couple of pieces of Premier Class, not really on for long enough though

Ricardo - 8 - Continental distribution and a bit of a renegade between the sticks.

Naughton - 8 - Nice runs and great overlapping with the wingers.

Bamba - 9 - Good game, extra point for the bump.

Mee - 9 - Thoroughly composed, won all his headers and was still committed after taking a big knock.

Van Aanholt - 8 - Nice runs and great overlapping with the wingers.

Oakley - 8 - Went about his job quietly but sexy passing.

Wellens - 8 - Usual terrier performance.

King - 8 - Great finish and some great runs.

Gallagher - 8 - Great link up down the wing with Van the man and made some dangerous deliveries into the box.

Vassell - 8 - Deft touches and caused their full backs all sort of problems.

Yakubu - 8 - Strong and combative and a great solo goal to boot.

Ricardo - 6 - Distribution was good but seemed very iffy with crosses, balls in the box, etc and that does not fill me with confidence at all.. Was totally puzzled why Weale was dropped as he's been doing fine lately

Naughton - 6.8 - Not his best game was quiet at times and made a few decisions in which the better option would have been to just hoof it out

Bamba - 7.5 - Decent but has the aura he's gonna make a big cock up soon lol

Mee - 8.5 - Awesome stuff and all these people where slagging him after one game, shows just how fickle some fans are....

Aanholt - 7.5 - Some very good runs, a peach of a ball into the box and not bad defending resulted in a good performance

King - 7.5 - Well taken goal, this guy is so confident infront of goal that i struggle to find a more natural goalscoring midfielder in the Championship

Wellens - 7 - Average not his best game but still is that main cog that runs the gears in midfield

Oakley - 6.5 - So, so, still rather have Abe in.. BUT if Abe is struggling at the moment then i guess Oakley will have to do

Gallagher - 7.5 - Seems to be loving life under Sven and it shows.. He seems alot more fitter, more willing to track back abit and overall decent showing and could have had a goal

Yakubu - 8 - Did well with holding up the ball and scored one sexual, sexual goal!

Vassell - 6.8 - Seen better from Vassell imo, was ok but just not as good as other games i have seen him play.. Quality finish tho for that offside!

Ricardo - 5 - Absolutely no need to drop Weale, if we didn't have such an awesome defence I would have been very worried about him. Ultimately not much to do though.

Naughton - 7 - Fair

Bamba - 9 - Derby didn't even look like getting past Bamba and Mee, love this partnership.

Mee - 9 - MOTM

PvA - 8 - Looked very dangerous running at them, needs a better final ball though.

Wellens - 7.5 - Got stuck in as usual, bit quiet at times.

Oakley - 7.5 - Solid. Nice to know he can come in and play well when Abe isn't at his best.

King - 8 - As usual some great passes and runs. Great finish.

DV - 7.5 - He makes some class touches, very skillful. Just goes missing quite a lot.

The Yak - 8 - What a finish, that's all we need him to do, I don't care if he walks around for the 90 mins as long as he scores when he's fed.

Gally - 8 - Very good, some great passes and almost scored.
