SystonFox Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Leicester 0-1 Burnley Agree. Can't see anything else sadly
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 1-0 loss, shit game and a fairly sedate performance. Hope I am wrong and they come out all guns blazing and really give them a hiding. Just can not see it though...Still we will win the ****ing league next season.
davieG Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Weale Vitor - Bamba - Mee - PVAAbe - Wellens - KingVassell - Yak - Kamara We scored 3 last week, so I'm going with the same front three. By all accounts Gallagher in midfield was shocking, and Oakley wasn't too great either, so go back to the Wellens-Abe-King. Bruma suspended and Naughton struggling to be fit means Vitor HAS to play right back, so presumably Mee will partner Bamba. I wasn't there but wan't Gallagher involved with two of the goals
ScouseFox Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 I wasn't there but wan't Gallagher involved with two of the goals I was just going on what was said here: http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=72049&st=0 as I wasn't there either. I agree his delivery is good, but Vassell has upped his game of late, Yak bagged a hat trick last week and Kamara looked lively and you'd assume Sven will have brought him in to play him. 4 into 3 forward positions doesn't fit basically, so one will be left on the bench I'd assume, and it's a tough choice between Gally and Kamara. To accomodate all 4, Gallagher has to play in midfield, and the views of people who went in that thread seem to suggest that didn't work.
Bilbo Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Just got my tickets, can't believe how many of the play-off contenders are playing each other tomorrow. As it looks unlikely that we will make the top 6 hopefully now the pressure has eased off we will absolutely destroy them.
LCFCmatt Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Weale Vitor Bamba Mee Van Aanholt Wellens Abe Gallagher Kamara Yakubu Vassell This is the team that I think it will be, although I would like to see Berner in for Paddy Vanny and Vassell to have a rest.

OriginalRobboFOX Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 You realise he was born and raised in France? I doubt he has any family in the Ivory Coast. Ha massive fail!!!!
Legend_in_blue Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 With Bruma out at least we have a chance of keeping a clean sheet.
Dylan Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 I've said this for the past few games, but I think today is actually the final chance... Nothing but a win is good enough. Winning our next two could put us back in with a slight chance, especially with the other games going on meaning teams around us WILL drop points. I'm hoping for Millwall-Leeds draw... Watford-Hull draw... and even a Forest-Reading draw.. as much as I dislike Forest I'd rather have them win then Reading- their run needs to stop.
cc_star Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 I'm not very confident today, which probably means we'll win. If we win every game we'll probably have accrued enough points to sneak 6th, so I don't care what anyone else does as points will be lost between now & the end of season so as long as we don't drop a single one, we'll sneak it. Anything less than a win & we may as well experiment for next season so we can hit the ground running even better. Didn't realise Naughton was out = more changes at the back = making a tough game even tougher
B52 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 A 4-1 win due to the Kamara-effect. We're unpredictable at the moment. The Yak, Vassell, Kamara and Gallagher. The only think I really want is Bamba at right CB. Then it doesn't matter if Ricardo or Weale get the nod or Berner, Aanholt or Mee or whatever.....
Les-TA-Jon Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 More chopping and changing at the back - even less understanding/consistency More doubt over the goalkeeper. Burnley have some great attacking players - Charlie Austin, Delfouneso, Wade Elliot, Marney, Eagles. I'm worried. I don't see us keeping many more clean sheets this season. All we can hope for is gung ho attacking (blackpool style) and to score lots. 2-3
UrbanFox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Spoke to Ray Wilkins about this game last night... He said " as long as we stay on our feet we will be fine" !

Fox92 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Referee is Mike Dean, so we'll most probably loose, and if so, 0-1 like always.
cairnsy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Leicester and trees win = game on for possible promotion, if only one or neither win then no chance

sphericalfox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Let's hope the hoo-do can be lifted today, and we can play without pressure and frighten a formidable Burnley.
Nick Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Usually about 2 isn't it? Yeah getting impatient now..... I want to see the squad that's going to keep our first League clean sheet at home in 2011 *put's head in hands and reaches for another diazepam*
Guest Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Leicester win 3 - 1 in style. Trees beat Reading 2-1 and other teams in the promotion race draw with each other or lose. Having said that only City, Reading and Forest results matter here in out.
