Guest Bilo Posted 24 April 2011 Posted 24 April 2011 Yep. And that penalty save cost me £40. <_< Had a few quid on a 1-0 win for Celtic.
Matt Posted 24 April 2011 Posted 24 April 2011 Game was boring. Yes, Yes it was, I stand by my original comments, why was I excited/interest in this game.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 He's just been smacked by a Hearts fan. Disgusting. He should take all 11 players off the pitch, and stick two fingers up to Scottish Football.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 What exactly happened? From BBC Sport: 2059: Okay... that was frantic... Now I have a chance to tell you that after Celtic scored their second, someone jumped out of the Hearts near the away dugout, and ran to attack Celtic boss Neil Lennon. The person was quickly dragged away by police. Lennon, understandably looked a little shaken. Thankfully he looked unhurt. Disgusting behaviour. Unfortunately, no doubt THAT is the incident which will overshadow any football played tonight. 2111: I am advised by the BBC's Scotland correspondent James Cook that the police match commander at Tynecastle will be making a statement following that attempted attack on Celtic manager Neil Lennon by someone form the Hearts crowd.
Fox92 Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 From BBC Sport: Thanks. I did turn the TV over when I saw your post, but the reporter didn't say anything. Its disgraceful, when will people draw the line. About time Lennon joined the staff at Leicester.
Nick Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Thanks. I did turn the TV over when I saw your post, but the reporter didn't say anything. Its disgraceful, when will people draw the line. About time Lennon joined the staff at Leicester. I'd rather have Marlon King. I bet that post goes down well - ah well, I've got enough friends.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 I really do feel for Lennon. He's at his boyhood club and must be wondering whether it's worth it when his physical well-being, even his life, has been endangered in the job. It'd be a terrible shame if he did have to leave but who could blame the bloke?
purpleronnie Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Terrible whats happened to him but he got it when he played for NI, he knew it could happen when he went to celtic I just think his actions on the touchline and in interviews doesn't help.
Wymsey Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 I'm pleased for Lennon as he's being very strong carrying on with his role despite being at his rather most difficult life of his career and I for one would've been shit scared of carrying on with all these threats and abuse that he's getting.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 The dissidents have better things to do with their time than send ****ing parcel bombs to football managers. Anyway **** Lennon the fenian ****
Corky Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 He's got to make a decision soon, he could get seriously hurt.
ScouseFox Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Doesn't deserve any of this. He's putting his own life and the lives of his family at risk just by managing a football club. Sad, really, as it won't stop until he stops, and that's giving up, letting them win. Just feel for him really, managing your boyhood club should be a dream, this is a nightmare.
Collymore Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 The thing is though the Rangers and Celtic rivalry is more than just football it's about religion and the goings on in Northern Ireland, this bomb (if it was sent by a Rangers fan) has absoloutely nothing to do with football but with a Northern Irishman managing a predominantely Catholic team who were against the Northern Irish fighting for freedom. I'm a Rangers supporter but this a step to far would never wish death on anyone. NB: Sorry if that sounded really patronising I was just trying to get a point across. I thought you were a Leicester supporter.
Fosse Boy Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Really sad again. Know he likes to stir it up himself but how much longer will he put up with this? Would welcome the bloke with open arms if he were to ever take a position at Leicester City FC again. Him as manager with Muzzy assistant and Guppy first team coach would be an absolute dream team.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Guessing I've missed some form of sarcasm? My bad if that's the case.

Alcoholics un-anonymous - genius, bring Gazza in as defensive coach and we'll have the full culture. Picking senior management better done with head than heart methinks.
I am Rod Hull Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Cant believe this is the same guy who played for us. He aways seems to be in a rage nowdays... Look at 0:18 and see his reaction at the bloke being led away. He needs to calm down a tad instead of flying off the handle, giving the crowd back chat and kicking bottles... Otherwise this will happen every other week... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXpMSk4q104
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 So you wouldn't be annoyed with a bloke who has just ran onto the field of play with his only attention being to attack you. With all that has been going on with regards to him recently and how it must be putting stress on his relationships with family and friends I find it ridiculous to tell him to calm down. If this was happening to me, I'd want to rip every limb from anyone who is supporting people who are sending bombs intended to maim or kill.

Did you see him celebrate the goal ? turned to the Hearts fans with arms aloft. He was just asking for it.
Jordan Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 Terrible whats happened to him but he got it when he played for NI, he knew it could happen when he went to celtic I just think his actions on the touchline and in interviews doesn't help. It shouldn't have to "help." All of the abuse and threats Neil Lennon has received over the years isn't a Neil Lennon problem, it's a sectarian scumbag problem. Edit to say that this particular case might be a had-too-much-to-drink-and-doesn't-know-how-to-behave-himself-in-a-crowd-at-the-football-game problem.
Samilktray Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 He doesn't exactly help himself. Seems to enjoy stirring things up a bit. It'll come back on him properly soon enough.
