Personally, I dont want a player like that at my club, and I think you must be a bit of a nob for seemingly not thinking what he did was serious.

He's not saying the whole incident is not serious, just like I'm not. Just that the bum bit happens to both sexes every night of the week in clubs up and down the country and people don't get labelled sex offenders for it. Of course there is another argument to be had on the rights and wrongs of it, but lets not get into that.

You were trying to belittle the offence with the ';in front of shocked clubbers' comment. Nobody is trying to make out it's an offence like rape, the courts chose to view it as a sexual offence as he was predatory in the way he assaulted her. And they chose not to let him appeal.

The courts sent him down and put him on the sex abusers register, do you not think they may know a bit more about it than you do? Probably best to just stop digging. Sorry if I'm a bit hot headed over this but I really don't want this scum bag at our club and I'm disgusted that people seem to think that his goals can excuse his offences.

Strikes me that you wanted to defend him over the well known offence, realised there's 13 others and now just don't want to be seen to be changing your tune. I mean fair enough mate, I commend your open mindedness - seriously - but King is a complete weapon and a persistent repeat offender with no respect for women or the law. I would be very sad if we had him represent our club. I would be proud of our fans and owners if we gave a struggling ex-con with earnest intentions a chance to redeem himself, but King has had chance after chance and has disgraced himself repeatedly. Avoid.
