Babylon Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Stupid stupid money! That's 3 1/2 Yakubu's. Akin-badbuy all over again! How do you work that out, Yakubu £3m fee and nearly £9m in wages over 3 year.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 If true, he'll be under a fvckload of pressure. Nothing less than 20 goals, perhaps more, would be acceptable. I don't envy the lad but there's little doubt he has the talent.

Ric Flair Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 This just highlights how moronic twitter is. As if Pini Zahavi is on fookin twitter talking about Nicky Maynard. YOU'RE ALL OFF YER NORRIS'S!!!!!!!!!!!!
80footgiraffe Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 It's not our money so we shouldn't worry so if a 7mill can be confirmed by a reliable source then we should discuss more.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 he got 20 goals in the championship and then we flogged him to wolves for 4 million ooh you are a cheeky monkeh

Ross_Spencer Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Whoop! 100 pages and we've still not had a bid accepted yet
Buck1983 Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 How do you work that out, Yakubu £3m fee and nearly £9m in wages over 3 year. I thought it was 2 million for Yakubu also must of forgot after the transfer fee Maynard will play for no weekly wage.
Fox 4 Life Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 This just highlights how moronic twitter is. As if Pini Zahavi is on fookin twitter talking about Nicky Maynard. YOU'RE ALL OFF YER NORRIS'S!!!!!!!!!!!! Well played sir!
MPH Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 PiniZahavi1... @ @£7 million bid accepted from Slimeball Sextone for Maynard. Sven has got his man #LCFC mean business. #BCFC Twitter is getting out of hand now. So many upset kids by the end of this week I reckon. Mills to Wolves, Maynard to stay at the Worzels and it'll be bedlam on here and twitter. Chill out, some gifford posting a tweet means the square root of cuntybollocks. Anyone can do it, supposed football journalist or not. Hang fire before getting excited, Wolves could easily whack a bid in to match it.
Monkeh BCFC Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 £25 million more realistic then? come back with 50 mil then we'll talk He's worth alot more then 4 and 7 million to us as he's our best player much like Andy King is worht 10 - 15 million to you, But in a real world situation City (Brizzle) would turn down 5 million for him with out a doubt but any more then that we'd be hard pressed to say no because of his contract situation, We're offiering him stupid money to stay prolly on par with what you would offer as we are gambling that he will sign and as your rumoured to be be bidding 4 million for him, if he has a good campaign with us next season and we have him under contract we could get closer to 8 million, All ifs and buts but I have a feeling thats what our owner wants to do (Ignore Sexton the chairman he's just a mouth peice for lansdown while he's a tax exile) But we have to wait and see my gut tells me he's staying and only not signing his contract as he's waiting for a prem club to come in,
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 We aren't in the Premier League though. Yeah but our plan is to get there isn't it. Sven's trying to get players that are very good at Championship level and can also make the jump to the Premiership. This is why were going for Mills, and Maynard.
Itsthejoeker Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 come back with 50 mil then we'll talk He's worth alot more then 4 and 7 million to us as he's our best player much like Andy King is worht 10 - 15 million to you, But in a real world situation City (Brizzle) would turn down 5 million for him with out a doubt but any more then that we'd be hard pressed to say no because of his contract situation, We're offiering him stupid money to stay prolly on par with what you would offer as we are gambling that he will sign and as your rumoured to be be bidding 4 million for him, if he has a good campaign with us next season and we have him under contract we could get closer to 8 million, All ifs and buts but I have a feeling thats what our owner wants to do (Ignore Sexton the chairman he's just a mouth peice for lansdown while he's a tax exile) But we have to wait and see my gut tells me he's staying and only not signing his contract as he's waiting for a prem club to come in, :crylaugh: :crylaugh: Andy King has more than one year on his contract and actually played regularly last year
MPH Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 thats because I see him week in week out Even all those months he was out injured for.... ?
Babylon Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 I thought it was 2 million for Yakubu also must of forgot after the transfer fee Maynard will play for no weekly wage. Who said £2m? He won't be on £55k a week though!!! Not forgetting if reports are believe Yak no longer wants to play in this league.
okie fox Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 It's not our money so we shouldn't worry so if a 7mill can be confirmed by a reliable source then we should discuss more. It will be your money when they raise ticket prices.
Monkeh BCFC Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Even all those months he was out injured for.... ? he's been with us for 3 years not one ****wit
80footgiraffe Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 It will be your money when they raise ticket prices. But surely it will be worth the money to see us win every week?
Itsthejoeker Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 It will be your money when they raise ticket prices. Don't think that'll happen, they'll look to get there return with the promotion reward
Bob.For.The.Win. Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 The Championships Torres. Is that a compliment or not?
80footgiraffe Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Is that a compliment or not? A lot of money and then not perform perhaps? I think he'll be great for us personally.
