As you know I am out in Sweden watching our pre-season games etc. Today I had the pleasure of watching us train at a bit of an 'unannounced' training session. I think in total there were 5 Leicester fans there.

I was surprised to see Andrew Neville on a bench in the small stand at the side of the pitch. My friend and I made our way over, and began to watch the training session. During this time, a conversation was struck with AN about various subjects. It was put to AN that a new 'Yakubu' story had started to circulate regarding a new offer of £4m. AN stated this was false and no new bids had been made, nor were the club following that player.

Now admittedly AN could have lied, but I decided to accept what he had said.

On this basis I passed on that no new bid for Yakubu had been placed despite several reports that one has been placed. Now if that makes me a muppet or anything else than fair enough. I have only passed on what was said.

I don't claim to be the know all of LCFC's goings on, but occasionally I do get snippets of information, and the fact that the support has been low key in Sweden has allowed us fans to interact a little more with club officials.

I hope this clears up the situation.

Leicester City have apparently made a new £4m bid for Yakubu.

The striker spent the latter part of last season on loan at The Walkers Stadium and has reportedly been left out of the Everton squad to tour the USA this week, and it is no longer possible to order a Yakubu shirt from Everton’s online store.

Leicester had previously bid around £3m for the striker who joined the Blues for £11m from Middlesbrough in 2008.

It's easier for people to call Bvllshit at new information especially from a new source. It saves them looking gullible and naive. Most have their bvllshit filters turned to 11 in an trash and slag off anyone who is not a credible source i.e bert/liamLCFC. But this you can see is not without reason with the amount of lies and chinese style whispers that a forum of this popularity attracts. I wouldnt take it personally, actually most of these chodes that gave you abuse actually WANT your information to be credible so they will hound you in a negative way to try and draw out a honest and decent reaction as per your above statement.
