absolutelegend Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 I'd love Heskey back. Reckon he's do the business against Championship defenders. IMO he is still Prem quality. SIGN HIM UP
AmyLGK Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 It says: Leicester struggling to settle personal terms with Aston Villa striker Heskey Leicester City want to bring Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey back to the club. The People says Foxes boss Sven Goran Eriksson has ex-England star Heskey in his sights. He has agreed a £600,000 fee with Aston Villa but is struggling to match the 33-year-old striker’s current wages. Heskey has a year of his lucrative Villa contract still to run but Eriksson still hopes to persuade him back to the club. The Swedish manager has always been a huge fan of the big hitman and sees him as a key signing in his clubs promotion push.
MikeyT Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 C'mon Emile, take a pay cut and come back to your home town club to help us get back to where we should be
AmyLGK Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 It was posted a couple of days ago I think? Oh - I only just saw the link on twitter - my bad!
Ric Flair Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I am almost certain that Heskey will sign for us before 2011/12 season draws to a close. Whether it's now or in January, I reckon we'll get him.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I'd love to see him back though, hope this is still a possibility!

Ric Flair Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 What is you know Mr Ric? Got a mate who has just dipped his toe in to the world of football agency, not got any top players yet but he's getting there. Anyway, Heskey might 'prefer' a loan move to us so that he remains on top whack for his last year of his deal at Villa. So if he doesn't join us permanently, I believe he'll be in at some point on loan this season.

Fox92 Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 C'mon Emile, take a pay cut and come back to your home town club to help us get back to where we should be Exactly. He supports Leicester doesn't he? Why would he not take a pay cut to rejoin the club he loves, I would. I thought the fee would be the difficult part, not personal terms. Anyway, I'd love to see him back.

harpendenfox Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 The man must be absolutely loaded anyway having played top league football over the last 10 years. Must have averaged 20k per year for 10 years, which means he's made at least 10 million. C'mon Emile, donate your salary for the year to something worthwhile like the DEC appeal for Somalia, come back to the Foxes, help us get promoted, and achieve lifelong legend status.

Emile did donate money to this club, whilst at Liverpool, when it looked like we were going under.

Happy Fox Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Why are Florist taking the piss out of Heskey he is far better than their dog shit up front http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=26898&page=1

Defenders defend Midfielders assist Strikers score Football really is that simple to some people. It offends me personally. The reason I got Sky (against all my principles) was so that I didn't have to sit in pubs with people who believed this.
Joe. Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Why are Florist taking the piss out of Heskey he is far better than their dog shit up front http://www.forestfor...?t=26898&page=1 Erm, give me Tudgay or Blackstock any day.
Wymsey Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Remember Tudgay scoring a screamer against us when we lost to them a few seasons back. Lost 4-1/2.
