paddy Agyemang Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 1. Dickhead? 2. Idiot? Well allow me to retort I find u abusive lmao I'd love to Heskey back at the club but not Matty who I think peaked at League 1 level and lacks a first touch, holds off from getting a shot off and relies on the dominant foot a little too much. We require a player who can play with the ball at their feet and convert more chances than Fryatt did for us if we are to be a top two side. Simple really, that's why I don't mind that we sold him and am not looking to buy him again. Does that explanation help? I consider your post to be abusive. Are you an internet warrior? Is it that you are ibosuk's lover? Help me out here, Paddy - you seem all riled - perhaps get rid of some of that tension, maybe take a shit or have your seventh masturbatory session of the day? Help foxestalk help you. I find abusive lmao
lestajigs Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 It's about time people should let fryatt go, in every strikers transfer thread he is mentioned, he's gone let it go guys
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 iPod it's spell check U int got no answer to that then nick You do know the difference between an iPad and an iPod don't you?
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Why are people still talking about flat-footed Fryatt?
@cheyette Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 It must be a simple choice for Heskey- from the way Villa Fans talk about him he's not exactly respected there. He's coming towards the end of his career now- and it's not like he needs money. If he came back to Leicester where he's seen as a legend he can finish his career on a high- bring his home team up to the premier league again and retiring at his home town club where he was arguably at his best in his whole career. Surely that's tempting for him. I know what I would do if I was him...

Or Leicester fans being Leicester fans would slag him off if/when the going gets tough throughout the season and his good Leicester name is ruined to an extent.
Jon the Hat Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Foxestalk has gone downhill big time ! Well, you could post more often!
Tomassi Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 If I had the time I probably would! But then thats just a probability... Although would absolutely love Heskey to come back, absolute beast name one defender who likes marking him!
Bagworthblue Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 I'm a big fan of Emile. LCFC is his club - He donated a large sum of his own money when we found ourselves in Administration. Let's not forget this! He has always, in my view been under rated simply as he is not a striker that scores goals regularly. What he does do is make space for his strike partners as he usually has 2 defenders around him, he holds the ball up very well and generally finds his pass / lay-off. He also tracks back and helps to defend. It would be a risk returning here and potentially losing his cult status and approaching the end of his career, he needs to keep earning as much as possible for as long as possible although I would guess he has invested well as he has always seemed quite well balanced (when he doesn't fall over (who doesn't btw)) I think he has another year left in the Prem personally but Que sera sera?? I'd like to see him back but can't see why he would want to - not yet anyway
FOXYMUM Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Emile Heskey is still being linked to a move to LCFC. I would love to have him back. Any thoughts?
sphericalfox Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 You may find your answer in the Heskey thread... http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=72655&st=660
ramboacdc Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 not got a bad word to say against him apart from probably his age. the man helped the club when we needed it and hopefully he can get some goals to get us back into the prem. hate that norwich are there right now!
Burleyfox Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Stat's sites say he has scored once every five league games since leaving Liverpool 7 years ago. He is fragile, ageing and seems to have developed a petulance problem, apart from which his finishing has always been below par. How many more so called strikers do we intend to have on the books who couldn't hit a cow's a**e with a banjo? Sven needs his head looking at if he really intends to sign EH!
sdb Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Ironic that, if he comes, the £100k he paid to get us out of a hole back in '02 (?) will probably be repaid 10 times over as a signing on fee. Not that i'm complaining, guy's my hero.
sdb Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 If people don't get why Emile Heskey has played so many times for England/in the PL/won so many League Cups, etc, etc, then they simply don't get football. A debate about Heskey is the quickest and easiest way to determine just how much an individual understands the game.
Scow Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 To judge a forward's quality simply on his goalscoring record is, erm, simple.
@cheyette Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 To judge a forward's quality simply on his goalscoring record is, erm, simple. But I guess that's the question do we need another forward or a goal scorer? I think having Heskey would be an asset- but given the choice of only one forward I think we need good finisher like maynard. Saying this I think if we can only get Heskey he would definitely set others up and put a lot of pressure on defence.

Heskey does most things strikers should do and alot of stuff they don't do but hasn't really been prolific and sometimes he does show himself up abit with his balance.
ScouseFox Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Don't want Heskey he doesn't score enough. Don't want Yakubu he scores too much. I love Leicester fans.
foxoffderby Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 My mate from school love to see him again doing the bizz in a blue shirt
JoeyB Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 No thanks, already a hero for most people! all it takes is one bad season and he'll loose the status and he'll get battered by fans!!
