Brenfox Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 I would rather like to see Maynard to heskey The Maynard deal looks dead. We need a goslscorer
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 The Maynard deal looks dead. We need a goslscorer And with respect that isn't Heskey, much as I'd love him to return.
Ashley Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 heskey will get goals for us His off the ball play and hold up play would be stupidly good at Championship level.
That lad from Japan Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 Signing Heskey would in my opinion show a lack of ambition. Maynard would be a step forward, Heskey a step back. Yes he was good first time around, but now he is miles past it and a genuine donkey. He'll probably sign and be on his bike in January after scoring 2 goals in 20 games. Not the player we need. Rather sign Evans.

Rather sign Evans. Heskey never was and never will be a goal scorer. His game is about his hold up play, dragging defenders away from the ball. In this division he would be amazing, he would make so much room for the Likes of King, Gallagher, Nugent and other strikers. Then again some people think it'd be a good idea to sign him to become a center back
ScouseFox Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 I'd rather sign Heskey than Maynard for the figures being branded about. Much rather.

ScouseFox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Yeah **** it, we don't need to score goals next season. Heskey will create a shit load of goals for Nugent, King, Gallagher etc.

He was good yes I was at that game. I have family who are Sheff United fans. When Wigan took the lead they stuck 10 men behind the ball, Heskey became a third center back for them, as a one off. He is not a center back though, he's a striker and would do some serious damage in this division.
PeterTaylorsApprentice Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Well i'd love Heskey back, and to the people saying Ched Evans is better, fvck off!
Nick Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I reckon if Villa land N'Zogbia , Sven will pile in for Emile.
PeterTaylorsApprentice Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I reckon if Villa land N'Zogbia , Sven will pile in for Emile. Not quite sure there, They have sold Ashley Young and Stuart Downing, so they need a replacement, if they sign another striker, then yes.
back2oldbrittain Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 being a leicester lad he might show a bit more heart & passion, think he is strong and will hold the ball up well but at 33 might be a bit risky. depends how much he will cost us ?
Yojoe36 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 If he's cheap, then f*** it, get him. He'll be winning balls, and could create chances
