Heskey

heskey will get goals for us

His off the ball play and hold up play would be stupidly good at Championship level.

Signing Heskey would in my opinion show a lack of ambition. Maynard would be a step forward, Heskey a step back. Yes he was good first time around, but now he is miles past it and a genuine donkey. He'll probably sign and be on his bike in January after scoring 2 goals in 20 games. Not the player we need. Rather sign Evans.

Heskey never was and never will be a goal scorer. His game is about his hold up play, dragging defenders away from the ball. In this division he would be amazing, he would make so much room for the Likes of King, Gallagher, Nugent and other strikers.

Then again some people think it'd be a good idea to sign him to become a center back :crylaugh:

I'd rather sign Heskey than Maynard for the figures being branded about. Much rather.

Yeah **** it, we don't need to score goals next season.

Heskey will create a shit load of goals for Nugent, King, Gallagher etc.

Agreed, i dont feel postitive about him coming back at all, sure he may be cheaper option, but surely we want someone capable of scoring plenty goals himself as well as assisting??

his performance for wigan at CB on the last day of the season was immense. absolutely beastly. i think i'm right in saying it basically kept them up.

He was good yes I was at that game. I have family who are Sheff United fans. When Wigan took the lead they stuck 10 men behind the ball, Heskey became a third center back for them, as a one off. He is not a center back though, he's a striker and would do some serious damage in this division.

being a leicester lad he might show a bit more heart & passion, think he is strong and will hold the ball up well but at 33 might be a bit risky. depends how much he will cost us ?
