bmt Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 he has had offers from Prem clubs and west ham sisters mate knows his brother so we got no chance I don't get why he would go west ham instead of here. Local lad, first team football, would give him a good salary, promotion push, club legend. Same goes for prem clubs as well, he wont want to be on the bench I'm sure. "No chance" seems a bit severe is all im saying.

Brown Fox Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 His son has moved from Loughborough Grammar to Ratcliffe College. So basically paying more for a worse school
Guest Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 His son has moved from Loughborough Grammar to Ratcliffe College. So basically paying more for a worse school At least he'll avoid the traffic!
JoeS Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I go to ratcliffe college and he came to look round a few months ago.
sg6 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I go to ratcliffe college and he came to look round a few months ago. Yeah, his son started at Ratcliffe college two weeks ago, year 7 or 8 I believe. If you go there, could you possibly ask him what his Dad's plans are??
Samilktray Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 How you gonna hassle a kid at school about his dads future plans? Weirdos.
shiv Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 His son has moved from Loughborough Grammar to Ratcliffe College. So basically paying more for a worse school I went to both
JoeS Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 How you gonna hassle a kid at school about his dads future plans? Weirdos. I am also a current student ?
ajthefox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Who needs the papers now when we've got a student at the same school as Heskey's son, who will no doubt be meticulously divulging all of his fathers plans for the coming months to every Tom, Dick and Harry that asks about him!!
Spiritwalker Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I'd go to the school and ask him myself, but that would breach my parole conditions.
millzi Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I'd go to the school and ask him myself, but that would breach my parole conditions. I'm not supposed to be within two hundred feet of a school... or a Chuck E. Cheese.
Candidcamera Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 Heskey loves Leicester and he's the age to give it a go rather than be a journeyman with another Premier club. It may influence others to join if they see him at the club. It is difficult to think of him back at Leicester but what an impact it would make in anticipation of success and dreams stakes.
top cheese Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 Heskey is probably going to happen sooner or later. I think he would be a better buy then yakabu despite his age because heskey has always made players around him better players. And there might not be a need to go out a spend big on more strikers. I look at a player like Waghorn who could vastly improve his stats by plaing along side Heskey at this level. The same way Heskey helped Owen. I do however think alot of the transfer rumors here are unrealistic untill this team gets to the Premiership. It would have to take a ridiculous contract offer to tempt someone like Huddlestone, Jeneas, Owen, etc from dropping down a level. Only because they could certainly fill a significant role with a mid-table to bottom-table premiership team. Kasper Schimicheal would be a fantastic buy in Net no question he is outstanding and can still grow as a young player. I dont think Kevin Phillips is the answer especially at 37 and Robert Earnshaw is a suitcase moving from team to team. I do think that the real need of this team is some real steel in the mid-field that could help protect the back line. Maybe it might be worth taking a small gamble on Hargreaves?
enex Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 could be on his way for £500,000 according to the mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1392361/Emile-Heskey-heading-Leicester.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
Nick Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 Article didn't really offer any news - no sources just 500k which appears on face value maybe a tad idealistic~?
Leicester_Loyal Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 Wow for 500k, hes a bargain. I kinda doubt that price though.
Scow Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 Article didn't really offer any news - no sources just 500k which appears on face value maybe a tad idealistic~? As much as I hate the Daily Mail, they're usually spot on with our transfer stories.
ajthefox Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 As much as I hate the Daily Mail, they're usually spot on with our transfer stories. Since when have they been spot on? They've also published the following you know.. Aston Villa, Fulham and Everton are ready to test Leicester’s resolve to hang on to Ivory Coast defender Sol Bamba. The 26-year-old former Hibernian stopper, who has a year left on his contract at the Walkers Stadium, has been watched by all three clubs, as well as Marseille and Paris St Germain. He would cost around £2million http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1392178/Leicesters-2m-rated-defender-Sol-Bamba-chased-Aston-Villa-Everton-Fulham.html Both stories are rubbish, there's no chance we'll get Heskey for 500k and more to the point I'm yet to see Sven mention him. Not to mention Bamba going for 2mil is fvcking ludicrous. There will be rumours about Heskey all summer, but none of them are substantiated and imo there's fvck all to them.
