My first thought when I read this was that it came from City not Villa....... If they are asking for 2.3 million for Heskey for example and the dailies print £500k everywhere is it an effort to devalue the player?

Fair enough if one of the promoted three come in but I doubt anyone else in the Premier will be that interested. Surprised he'd turn us down if I'm honest.

It's not me who has to prove I 'know' anything, it's the press who should have to prove that there is something behind what they're saying. And unless I missed them, I'm pretty sure there are no quotes. Not a word from Sven in there, or Heskey or anyone from Villa or anyone who might be involved with Bamba. So the question really is why do you believe it? What makes this different to the hundreds of other rumours that we've heard since the beginning of january?

jamiegoode Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 well personally id love to have heskey back, especially if he can help us win promotion, he will definatly play his heart out every game, maybe we need that passiom, that fire, that desire for leicester city from him to pump up some of the players that arent bothered are here for the money (random note, what would be the transfer return on heskey if we bought him back for £500k after sellimg him all those years ago
