For the majority I'm sure this will be one of the top two, but there are obviously a lot of users on here not even English nevermind local, and it interests me to see why, of all the teams in the football league, people might support City if they have no form of attatchment.

I was born in the Royal and have lived in the same house in Groby for all 20 years of my life so it's pretty self explanatory what I've voted for.

My dad has supported Leicester since he was a kid as well, so I may well have been a fox even if I didn't live in Leicester but I'll never know.

Born in the Infirmary and have always lived in Sibbertoft near Mkt Harborough. Dad and his mates have always been massive fans and that's what connects them. All the friends of the family when I was growing up were Leicester through and through and I was hooked in no time.

Plenty of FNF down Filbert Street followed by regular games when I was a bit older and I've been a fan since. Can't empathise with anyone who supports anyone else now :P

All of my family before me support City. Live here aswell so if I was ever going to support a team it was always going to be Leicester.

Didnt even have an interest in football till my early teens despite going to a few games. My Dad must have just gone with one last effort to get me to support leicester through taking me to a game (against crewe I believe) whilst I was at High School and thankfully it worked.

Bet he was glad cause apparently it didnt work out with any of my brothers or sisters. It became rediculously addictive and I just carried on going. Got my first season ticket the season we were relegated to league 1 lol

I was never really into football has a kid, though the Foxes did make me curious, did not mind playing but never really supported anyone though my dad was not the type to ever take me to anything like a football match, in fact he rarely ever took me anywhere.

When i was old enough and working my younger brother got into supporting city and one wintry saturday we went down to Filbert St., just me, my brother and two mates to see a draw against Oxford United and ever since then i have been going to see the Foxes whenever i can afford it, the first season i went down by the way was the season we won at Wembley for the first time beating Derby, which i went to see lol

Explained it several times befre, but in essence it was just a lucky dip. Have no relations to Leicester, never been there, knew nothing about the city prior to following the team. At the time MON was manager, they had just been promoted and won the league cup. The initial attraction was his philosophy of defying the trend and buying British, succesfully. My allegiance has stuck ever since

I'm just a glory supporter, but I think my understanding of the concept is a tad flawed..... ;)

I am born and bred in Lestoh, but I think it's more to do with my Dad supporting them, even if I lived in another City I think I'd support Leicester.

Most people at my school supported other Clubs and being born in the 90s it was a lot easier in my younger years to watch bigger Clubs week in week out on the TV (unlike most kids though I've ALWAYS hated Man U :P ) . My Dad got me the Leicester season review every year though and with it being such an exciting and magical time, I was roped in. He was only to take me to see them 2 or 3 times a season - luckily my first 2 games were in the Worthington Cup run of 2000, the second being the final.

Shamefully I had a fling with Arsenal shortly before that, but the Cup Final victory pretty much put the nail in their coffin!

And one day it happened this:

Meh, I'm just bloody glory hunter...

Pleased to see Swindon go down this year, always want them to do badly after ruining the best game ever.

My dad.

Supported United as a very young kid when I was first getting into footbal (As most young kids getting into football do), went about 4 times to see them, but then realised I wouldn't be able to see them week in/week out (Sums it all up when I was 5 or 6 and realised that, yet there are grown men that support teams that they will hardly ever see live, live no-where near them, just because they win everything).

My dad used to be given free FNF tickets, so used to take me to those games, he himself (As far I as I know) wasn't a Leicester fan before or anything but took me along we both got the bug, eventually when he knew I would sit and watch for the 90 minutes and enjoyed going and watching the football he started taking me to proper 1st team matches, when he died I carried on going.

I also think, and have mentioned this point many times before that they should bring FNF back, because there is nothing more annoying that going to the football and having the 'matchday experience' and all the 'family club' stuff rammed down your throat then you have kids playing about not interested in the football one bit, getting up every 5 minutes to go to the toilet, e.t.c, as I said I was introduced to football with FNF, this was for the kids, it was an introduction to football and going to games. I realise the club have got to cater for families and get kids in because they are future fans, but bring FNF back that would cater for that. Only thing is I think FNF was 'across the board', it was a league, e.t.c, so I suppose you can't point the finger at the club to get this going as its not in LCFC's hands.

Born at the royal, lived in shepshed then coalville all my life.

Though my dad was a man utd supporter (one who used to go tho!) he took me to my first city game aged 7- leicester 2-1 charlton in early 94. Pretty much stuck with me ever since. I've certainly surpassed my dads attendance record (he got fed up with man utd winning everything!) And I am myself a complete addict!

Proud Leicesterian! :)

When I was younger I supported Man U and Leicester as my second team (this during the glory days). My family had been City fans but had lost the need to follow them for personal reasons. But then I went on this Leicester training session at school and won free tickets to a match against Sheffield Wednesday during the 2002/03 promotion season typically it was a boring game in which we drew 0-0. But me and my dad 'caught the bug' and have been Season ticket holders since 2003/04. Now, my whole family's back in to it and we're all loyal Foxes fans :)
