blueblood88 Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Been caught drink driving. Reading was 51 on breatalyser, plus not wearing seatbelt, foglights on and had mobile phone in hand. What punishment am i looking at, shitting it
Haydos Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Tut tut. That's a ****er of a mess though. No idea about the punishment tbh.
DB11 Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Whatever it is, it's not harsh enough. Why would you do that and put others lives at risk?
Simmo86 Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 How many years have you been driving? If its 2 or less rip your licence up now, if more than 2 you'll still probably lose your licence and a hefty fine! If I we're you I'd buy a bike because insurance won't touch you with a bargepole in the future. But thats what you get for being a idiot! Edited to say no point shitting it, you won't go to jail. Just not going to be driving for a long time.

StanSP Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 I also feel this is a wind-up. Don't know why you'd publicise how much of a knob you've been if it isn't.
Zingari Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 I also feel this is a wind-up. Don't know why you'd publicise how much of a knob you've been if it isn't. t'll certainly be a "wind up" car for him for the next few years , a grown up one will be out of the question
Houdini Logic Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 May not be a wind up - if you're stupid enough to drink drive then you're probably stupid enough to post it on here
Rocket-Ron Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 Been caught drink driving. Reading was 51 on breatalyser, plus not wearing seatbelt, foglights on and had mobile phone in hand. What punishment am i looking at, shitting it You could hope you get this persons judge(s) 39 points

Didn't think of it that way!

Darkon84 Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 2 years ban and £500 fine probs. It depends on your work situation etc. if you arent earning much or are a student, youl get a longer ban and smaller fine etc.
blue blood Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 PS whatever punishment you get, count yourself lucky nobody was hurt and please please please learn your lesson, it is not worth it.
blueblood88 Posted 5 May 2011 Author Posted 5 May 2011 May i ask how long you have been driving for? also are tou dependant on a car? do you have any convictions? have you been involved in any accidents - fault or non fault? Been driving for four years, i am dependant on my car; have a part time job and am also at college, no previous motoring offences and had one crash, not my fault
blueblood88 Posted 5 May 2011 Author Posted 5 May 2011 PS whatever punishment you get, count yourself lucky nobody was hurt and please please please learn your lesson, it is not worth it. I am counting myself very lucky no-one was hurt, and don't worry i have. Was a complete error of judgement on my part, thought i'd be ok after only having a couple.
Finnegan Posted 5 May 2011 Posted 5 May 2011 not my fault What? Of course it was your fault you dipstick. Court won't give a toss if you're dependent on your car, over the limit, on your phone and without a seatbelt? You might as well have pulled your nob out and waved it at the coppers to top it off.

Probably would have got off with a caution if you'd have done that
