ealingfox Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 Can always rely on Billy's Bottlers for a bit of comedy - that really is a bad result.
ajthefox Posted 12 May 2011 Posted 12 May 2011 Didn't see any of the game but well done Swansea for holding forest out. Hoping that they beat forest at home, which you would put money on and then Reading beat Cardiff and go all the way. Have a bad feeling cardiff might do it this year though..
VinceNoir Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Forest bottling it again. Love it.. Bet they'll sneak a 1-0 in Swansea though.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 The only consolation is that at least theyll wish away goals counted how we did last year
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I really wish Cardiff had gone up automatically so that Swansea could go up too, just to piss off the nationalists.
Simmo86 Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I wouldn't mind Swansea being in the Prem, play decent football and are a non offensive club. Cardiff on the other hand....... Anyway back to the main point FOREST :crylaugh:
RedHux Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 My, what a nationalistic thing to say I'm not too disheartened from last night. Swansea are a very good side and it was only when they started to tire we got any sort of pressure on them and even then we lacked any kind of spark.or creativity. The thing is, I'm not too sure where that touch of class is going to come from either. Also on the upside we don't have a slim lead to defend which as you ll know, we're pretty awful at and as it happens, that was one of our better home results in the play offs! So quietly optimistic for our visit to the leagues best home side

MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Forest's poor run of form shortly before the end of the season had them bound for a drop into the Championship midfield. Then along came same old Leicester and gave them a lifeline and boosted their slipping morale (and ego) by gifting them a shocking 3-2 win at the City Ground. Enjoy the ride, RedHux. It'll be over once the final whistle has gone in Swansea.

Prussian: Anything other then complete capitulation, even if we get beat, would be an improvement on previous years.
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Form counts for nothing in the play offs and Forest could easily win at the Liberty Stadium. Swansea played very well last night though, even with 10 men. I really do like Lewis McGugan. His passing is great, he uses both feet and has a great eye for goal. I'd certainly be looking at him if I was Sven.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 'cos it's quite nice. And not because LTLF makes this place look like a Mensa meeting then?
purpleronnie Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I bet wembley are bricking themselves over a possible cardiff v swansea final, I hope it happens.
Corky Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 It'd hurt more for forest to get to the final n then lose. I couldn't bear having cardiff or swansea in the top flight when they really should be playing airbus uk away, and bangor at home Don't they play both clubs home and away?
RedHux Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 And not because LTLF makes this place look like a Mensa meeting then? :D LTLF is good and serves for all my Forest related chit chat, however it does tend to have more er....right wing leanings then here and I do prefer the lefty commie aspect of this place. Also, being from Loughborough I tend to get into quite a few LCFC related chats and I'd be lost without the valuable info I get from FT.

This is Tory/ EDL land.
RedHux Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 I know. I wasted a whole evening and some of the morning on here pointing out the errors of the EDL to people who couldn't give two shits what I thought. In my defence, I was rather drunk at the time.

Apart from the hackneyed Fester and Incester nicknames bestowed upon us, there does seem to be an uglier racist element to some of the Leicester bashing. Apart from that, it's not dissimilar to here. Some clued up people, and some who seem to have single figure IQs.

Finnegan Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 The far lefties being prime examples The irony of you mocking anyone else's IQ would make even Webbo and Jon the Hat laugh out loud.
BoneDog Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Excellent effort from Swansea last night. I thought they'd had it after the sending off so early but full marks to them for how they played. Felt sorry for Dobbie, 2nd minute and he had to be subbed off. It was a very good semi-final.

Red Dawn Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 I can't see us getting anything from Monday although il be hoping our players prove me wrong. If worst comes to worst then il wish Swansea the best in the final and beyond, went to the Liberty stadium earlier this year and their fans were fantastic
