Kitchandro Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Two penalty shouts, one more blatant than t'other, hit the bar twice, hit the post in the 91st minute. The penalties were blatant compared to the one David Speedie won against us in the play-offs. Compared to the stone wallers we were denied last season though, they don't even deserve a mention. Oh and the first shot that hit the bar he should have buried, that's not unlucky that's just poor finishing.
sdb Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Balls. Unlucky. We know how you feel, i.e. fooking awful. Still not got over this time last year.
martyn Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Looking again, that handball in the last minute could easily have been a penalty. £90m decision potentially.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Looking again, that handball in the last minute could easily have been a penalty. £90m decision potentially. £9 decision in my case.
ScouseFox Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Pratley's trending worldwide on Twitter, the Championship is massive.
VinceNoir Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 FOREST AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH !!!!!! Great game of football.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Forest should/could have won. Very unlucky. Oh well never mind, another trip to The City Ground next season .. Or not! Not giving those ***** my money again after treatment by stewards last time. Oh and McGugan is superb. McGoldrick is shit. Earnshaw is lethal.
ScouseFox Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Gotta agree with Warnock () re that last goal. Sending up the keeper is so all 11 are in the box and the keeper adds a bit of height for a corner. Forest sent up Camp, who is smaller than most other players on the pitch, and left 2 defenders back. Don't think they understood the idea of throwing everyone forward...

Swansea could easily have been three or four up by the time Forest scored...
Chairman of the Bored Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Billy Davies RIP. I'd have McGugan in our team any day of the week.
FoxyPV Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Earnshaw was on for 20 (?) minutes scored and hit the post. Why didn't he start? (not that I'm upset )
Kitchandro Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Earnshaw was on for 20 (?) minutes scored and hit the post. Why didn't he start? (not that I'm upset ) Davies is an idiot. Easily their best striker but he doesn't start him that often.
Bugg Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Was it Don Goodman who was pundit on sky? If it was, he is such a sycophant towards forest.
Kitchandro Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Was it Don Goodman who was pundit on sky? If it was, he is such a sycophant towards forest. Yeh it was, he hates Leicester too.
Red Dawn Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Very proud to be a red tonight. Put in a real shift second half and were very unlucky not to draw level and possibly take the lead. Plus we had two stonewall penalties turned down over the two legs. Still good luck to Swansea, they are a good side and I wish then well in the final/beyond. And no I dont think Davies will go, I like the bloke and hope he stays and takes us up. All the best
MPH Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 quite pleased to of kept forest Derby and Cov in the division with us just for grins, like
ScouseFox Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Guess Forest are experiencing pretty much exactly what we did last year (minus the "kermo you fcking cvnt" part). Proud, gutted, sad, devastated, just weird. Onto next season for you guys now, at least you've got a guaranteed 3 points when we come to the City Ground...
I am Rod Hull Posted 16 May 2011 Posted 16 May 2011 Very proud to be a red tonight. Put in a real shift second half and were very unlucky not to draw level and possibly take the lead. All the best Forest did give it a go second half and i must admit i wanted them to equalise (and then lose on pens)... See ya next season...

Finnegan Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 To be honest these "gutted" Forest lads should just be thankful they're in this division. Every day out of League One, where they're far more at home, is a good day for them really.
Simmo86 Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 Tweet from a Forest fan after a little bit of Twitter banter last night: TomSimmonds_86 Simmo86 "@Soniquella: @TomSimmonds_86 You are a ****ing **** sir now **** off and rob some bins you low life. #nffc"
MC Prussian Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 Now they know what it feels like losing out to a Welsh side in the playoffs...
