harryboi72 Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 I feel that there is a few decent players we could sign from West Ham to strengthen our squad now that they have been relegated: Robert Green Matthew Upson Herita Ilunga Marek Stech Frédéric Piquionne Thomas Hitzlsperger Scott Parker Carlton Cole Jack Collison Mark Noble Jonathan Spector Freddie Sears Julien Faubert Demba Ba Junior Stanislas Zavon Hines A few of these probably wouldnt sign for us but theres a chance, whats everyones opinions???

David Guiza Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 I've never understood why so many people rate Freddie Sears, barely scored any goals and hardly set the league a lite when he's been on loan in this division. Many of the better players will move to Prem sides and the rest will stick at West Ham though.

21st Century Fox Posted 15 May 2011 Posted 15 May 2011 Most of them are on stupid wages anyway which is one of the reasons West Ham are in this mess. Really looking forward to Upton Park away though!! It'll be interesting to see what their squad will look like then.

If there is one thing we have proved with the Thai revoloution... we are not afriad to spend money on wages. I am going to stick my neck out and say we will have the biggest wage budget in the championship next season. There is a strong posibility we will be paying higher wages than some of the promoted teams - definitely more than the likes of blackpool too if they stay up..... some might also prefer a season fighting near the top of the champ than fighting to stay up losing 25 games a season... Money talks... and those not able to secure a prem contract of their liking might well have their agents knocking on Sven's door..

If you can find a keeper who has never made a mistake then i'd like to see him. The difference with Green is that his mistakes will of been in front of the cameras. Someone like Weale, before he came to us, would not of had his mistakes at Bristol city shown to the world.
