lee(lcfc) Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 it dont work as fast as fm when it comes to tranfers would be nice if it did
dave_the_fox Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Got a feeling Kasper is only gonna go for a 2 year contract, but I could be wrong. Fine, we got 2 years to get to the prem!
Jimmy Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 didn't he sign a 2 year deal at Notts too? Not showing much commitment really with that length of contract
thybluefox Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 More details please? In the street or on twitter? Sorry should have explained, someone asked the Fourth_Official fellow/lass, and they said he'd agreed terms. I imagine if he has we'll be hearing today.
Fox 4 Life Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Further proof he doesn't really want to be here, if true I say we pull the plug and let him rot at Leeds, we need committed players
MATTL 94 Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Got a feeling Kasper is only gonna go for a 2 year contract, but I could be wrong. If kasper does sign, i reckon it would only b on a 2 year deal, as that is all he has committed to at his other clubs. do you think he will sign, and have you got any latest info?
Jon the Hat Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Got a feeling Kasper is only gonna go for a 2 year contract, but I could be wrong. I am sure he won't be the only one who wants to "commit" on the assumption we will get promoted next year, and will be off if Sven gets the boot.
thybluefox Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Further proof he doesn't really want to be here, if true I say we pull the plug and let him rot at Leeds, we need committed players Sigh. How many times do people have to say this. As long as he's in goal and playing well, does it really matter if he's only signed for 2 years? He's not going to join because he loves the club, because he doesn't!! He'll do what he thinks is best for him. FFS.
RizLCFC Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Someone asked if he'd agreed terms with us and his reply was yes. It was me

We aren't man utd and we don't have life long fans that want to play for us so that's a given. It's about attitude and commitment, I can't predict the future so I'm not saying he won't be committed but to start your time at a new club by basically saying you don't want to go there and then only signing on for 2 years stinks of arrogance, he is good but not THAT good!
JoeyB Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 didn't he sign a 2 year deal at Notts too? Not showing much commitment really with that length of contract Notts county agreed to release him because i think it was munto finance (sp) who were providing the cash and it went tits up........ and Sven was D.O.F at Notts C when he signed.

Agree with you Fox. There has been a lot of talk about this on other forums. It is not too much to ask to show a bit of excitement when a team comes in for you. You don't go to a job interview and say "well I might come but I ain't staying for long and by the way I am only coming to you if no-one better comes along. " Not asking people to say they love Leicester City, just pay the same level of curtesy and manners that minions like you and I would. Look at Peltier - he has taken time out of his own holiday to attend a medical which says to me he wants to be here.
shen Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Got a feeling Kasper is only gonna go for a 2 year contract, but I could be wrong. Which is fine. If we go up he'll surely want to extend it.

Look at Peltier - he has taken time out of his own holiday to attend a medical which says to me he wants to be here. He's come out with one statement, half an hour after finding his current employer didn't want him any more. He might have looked round Leicester and now be excited about coming here. The fact is that since Monday/Tuesday or whenever it was, none of us know how he's feeling about the prospect of coming here. Peltier wanted to make the step up, Kasper however was happy where he was and then had the rug taken from under his feet. Its understandable that he wouldn't be to thrilled about having to find a new club in the 30 minutes after being told where to go.
Lambert09 Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 After 2 years if we havent reached the prem and he doesnt love the club then is anyone that fussed if he leaves ? Perfect ammount if you ask me, if we go up this year and he plays well he wiill get a new contract if not sell him and get him off the wage bill

Spot on, I've heard people on various forums slating Kasper for his reaction and ssome city fanes saying they'll boo him on his first match! It's amazing. Kasper is obviously very hurt by what Leeds have done to him and he's saying that he didnt instigate it. I hope he signs for us ands quickly as I do rate him.
Itsthejoeker Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Wouldn't you be quite upset if you'd found you've lost your job via the company website?

You wouldn't word it like that, but if you go an job interview you should certainly be asking what the prospective employer can offer you in terms of prospects, development etc. It is a two way street you know.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 So is there a good chance that Schmeichel will be signing today? :sge:

I don't know how anyone can possibly compare this transfer to the Peltier one, Kasper was playing at a similar/if not higher level than us last season, now he's being told he's not welcome any longer, Peltier was playing a league below floating around the play-offs and then they didn't make it, of course he is going to want to step up a league! If they had got promoted however I'm not so sure he would have come. Totally different deals so no point comparing them.

Another reason for getting rid of Weale then, twats like these will be chanting Weale after 5 minutes.

millzi Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Well if you go back and read the post you'll see where the comparison is. READ WHAT I PUT! He had the chance to play with a team that is way bigger than the one he was at, a team that is tipped for promotion and a team with the best manager outside of the Prem! Of course he is going to want to bloody come And I imagine a fair increase on his wages.
