sphericalfox Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 I think one of my first postings was about getting in a new man (at the time I suggested Dein). I can't find the post on FT, so apologies. Now I wonder what made them jump ship? Was it their ability to wrangle a good deal or scuppering the ones on the table. Pishing off Sven and Top and Co? I do hope we get someone who has better contacts, and can bring a Finance Director who can turn the club a profit without strangling the pockets/wallets of the fans, and and doesn't talk horseshite when talking in the press.

Didn't pearson make a comment when they signed Fryatt from us about Hoo's taking an age to get anything done?
sphericalfox Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Didn't pearson make a comment when they signed Fryatt from us about Hoo's taking an age to get anything done? Hoos seemingly dragged his heels and I think was probably instrumental in us not taking in numerous acquistions. I am speculating, but reading into the statements he made publically I don't think he was doing us ANY favours. Also I found the initial article on FT: Biggest signing...
markbsac Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Stringer is a twat. Thought it'd be some big news. What a nob. do you know strings then.....hes actually a decent lad !
sphericalfox Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 do you know strings then.....hes actually a decent lad ! I don't think he's remarking on his ability to be a socially acceptable person to hold a conversation with or go out for a drink with, but whether he can actually provide a professional and unbiased account of himself on the radio or online without coming across as a self-important twat.
Matt Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Good, never liked him, hoped he'd go when Mandaric went. Was only a matter of time, expected this news a long time ago though. To join up with MM maybe?
banko71 Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 First time on here lads so be gentle. I was banned for persistant stand ing in Feb and he and Kevin Barcley was behind it,even had a stand up arguement with Barcley when i got my ticket back in the main reception a month later The letter i received from Hoos was sarcastic to say the least following my ejection or should i say our ejection,my 14 year old son was also banned. One down, one to go.

One down, one to go. You're wasting your time trying to talk any sense into the ****. Point blank refuses to listen to facts and well reasoned arguments.

One down, one to go. It's absolutely gutting to think those two clowns have been part of our club, both completely and utterly detached from the fans who pay their wages. As you say, one down one to go. There'll be a fvcking great party when Barclay finally leaves.

Corky Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Who is going to tell the fringe players to fight for their place now?
leicesterisme Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Nothing on official website yet Oh dont worry about that, it won't be up till August with that website !
Father Ted Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Who is going to tell the fringe players to fight for their place now? Beat me to it! Haha
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 When I met Lee Hoos it was pretty obvious that he didn't have much of a clue about English football, or give a shit about the fans of the club. He seemed to think that he knew best and also seemed to confuse the fan culture here with the fan culture in the US. He didn't seem like the sort of bloke who would take supporters' views seriously or readily listen to other people. On that basis, I think we can do a lot better than him. Lets just hope his replacement is better and not worse!
The Doctor Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Yes! Bye hoos you complete and utter ****, Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

For example, goal music? :D PLEASE LET THAT GO, sick of people lowering their opinion of us as a club every time we score. Best day of the close season so far, good riddance twat.
MC Prussian Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 It's about time we beat the modern, incompetent school of management. Management that only serves itself well, but not the general public.
lcfcadam Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 All we need to leave now is Kev Barcley Let's just replace him with a different Barclay: One of Star Trek's most enduringly endearing characters...
Collymore Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Who needs Hoos when you've got Sven anyway? The Swede could negotiate contracts and sort transfers in his sleep.
