MattyR Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Stringer said in commentary that he doesn't think that we will sign Routledge!
Haydos Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Stringer said in commentary that he doesn't think that we will sign Routledge! That means literally nothing.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Would have thought by now that you should know not listen to stringer un less ITS MASSIVE NEWS
Bezzanator89 Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Would have thought by now that you should know not listen to stringer un less ITS MASSIVE NEWS Even then I turn a blind eye to what he says. He aint the best at talking sense or actual facts, he was booted off The Apprentice at only week 3 in the 4th series
Jakemoore Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 That means literally nothing. Oh it does.....it means we WILL sign him!
Happy Fox Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 He's going Forest. Check Blackstocks twitter. Shame, I hate forest
Simmo86 Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 He's going Forest. Check Blackstocks twitter. About wearing the number 10 shirt?
MikeyT Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 dexblackstock23 Dexter Blackstock @wayneroutledge you sure you can handle the no10 shirt at forest??some top boys have worn that
Callabinho Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Good signing for them, however nothing to get worried about, Sven clearly wasn't too fussed about signing him, our priorities are with Maynard or yakabusy.
Happy Fox Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I imagine we will still go after a winger but who is the question?
Callabinho Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I imagine we will still go after a winger but who is the question? SWP, if we make a big signing it will be a loan. I believe it will be SWP, man city wont want to sell him to a rival and I can't see him getting games! Just my thoughts
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Good signing for them, however nothing to get worried about, Sven clearly wasn't too fussed about signing him, our priorities are with Maynard or yakabusy. We still haven't got either of those too either though

Babylon Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 We still haven't got either of those too either though The point being they are priority, people like CMS and Routledge seem to be kept on the back burner until we know what's happening with our number one target. I would perhaps suggest that the club knows Maynard is interested, and everyone is playing the waiting game knowing they can't hang on to him if he won't sign a new contract. Hence us not really following through on these other guys.
Lester LXXIV Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Gutted to see a decent player linked with us but going to them coonts!
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Gutted that he isn't coming here. But there is always others. Barry Bannan? Swp?
bluebeau Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 SWP, if we make a big signing it will be a loan. I believe it will be SWP, man city wont want to sell him to a rival and I can't see him getting games! Just my thoughts Can't see SWP being willing to drop down into the Championship. That would probably put a temp. stop on any chance of him being picked for England squad. If Man City don't want him I could see him going to SPL Rangers or Celtic? Would be a great signing for us though, so here's hoping.
Callabinho Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Sven has a trick up his sleeve trust me! The loan Market will be used for injury cover and on more big signing, someone we tried for last season but couldn't get due to wage demands or what ever! I just think it will be SWP, his career seems to have come to a halt and Svennis could Swoop into save him, a 6month loan want hurt anybody apart from opposition defences
Ric Flair Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Routledge isn't anything special but as we haven't been linked with many other wingers as good or better than him, then it's annoying that he's going elsewhere. I'm not convinced by Vassell out wide and Lloyd Dyer is erratic at best. We are still a quality striker and a wide midfielder away from a promotion worthy squad. We'll get there though.

ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 No way would SWP drop to the Championship with it being the year before the Euro Champs, he's gotta be aiming to make that squad and being in the Prem is his best chance

RedHux Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 It is widely thought by those ITK that we're favourites to sign him but then as we all know, anything can happen between now and him signing.
