Not sure how I feel on this one. A large wage off the books, but will be difficult to replace. This is especially true if there is a transfer embago.

The only player in our squad capable of producing something out of the blue. He will be missed, that's for sure.

That's not really how it works though is it?

We may save a small amount, but I imagine that Nugent will cost more in wages/signing on fee as he knows City haven't had to pay a fee.

Excellent signing if this happens. Exactly the sort of calibre of player we need to be filling our squad with if we're going to challenge.

Anybody who is going to moan and groan about this signing needs to consider where we were not too many pre-seasons ago, when the best that we were able to sign up was Josh Low and Andy Johnson.If Nugent comes in i'll be absolutely delighted. Player who will unsettle defences and weigh in with a share of the goals...Hope that we get him signed and sealed before any chance of Cotterill going to the Blue Noses and coming after him.
