Based on the rumours and last seasons performances we seem to be going for a very leaky defence tongue.png

Seems a lot of cash for a utility player.

Not overkeen.

hope not....dont like like/rate the sod at all.

Rather have Junior Lewis back

'funny ol game' football.. Only a couple of seasons ago St Ledger was being touted as a good prospect for the future and being linked with bigger clubs.. I think he's suffered from being part of a shitty team. As a 'utility' player he's probably still got something to offer

It's all about the good old-fashioned 2-3-5 formation. Retro at its best.

No better than Hobbs, exactly the same price as him and he's 4/5 years older than him. No thanks.

Is he a mardy arse Pearson bum licker though?

thats true, remember when I saw him in a documentary when he was at Peterborough, came across like a complete pleb.

Still certainly think we can do better,

With Ron atkinson?

That was a good programme!! but yeah he seemed like a mardy little **** as i remember?

Maybe he's grown up and isnt as much of a tool?

Still.... definately no better than Hobbs.

I would take him on a free or for a bargain but wouldnt wanna pay much.

He has suffered from being at a struggling club and also playing through injuries I think, but its not too far back he was looking like he might get a lower prem move. His performances for Ireland have been excellent though, and against decent opposition at that level has never looked out of place and held onto his spot in the side despite his club struggles and other options emerging.

I think he would do well here.
