weggy1976 Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Personally doesn't really excite me. 32 year old with a 15 year playing career yet only 250 odd appearances.
HammerTime Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 None of our signings are exciting really. Not like Kevin Nolan who will rip through the Championship. Damn those handsome devils!
TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 He had a trial with Wigan.... No contract He had a trial with Blackpool... No contract

Really is no pleasing some people. We've made some decent signing so far! Or were you expecting Messi and Ronaldo to be announced soon?

FoxyPalace.com Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Yeah heard via twitter Ronaldo's medical is due on the 30th July

sphericalfox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 He's fat nowaways and his voice is gone. He's clinging onto his fame from the 80's. No thanks.
Cropwellfox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Backup with Bruno for Masilela - why not? Why not indeed.... With Mills & St Ledger by no means certain, Vitor's return in the balance and Hobbs waved out the door we're not exactly spoiled for choice at the back. Known to Sven, solid enough, let's see if he's still got hunger to play. Carr hadn't had a club for a while and look how his career took off again.
eaststandtom Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 michael ball? ive heard joe longthorn is coming in up front and russ abbott as back up to peltier

Izzet is God Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Don't really think he's quick enough any more....but for back-up for Masilela (as long as Ball is happy with that) it's not a terrible signing.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 He replacing the Birch?, half time 'entertainment?'
jonw88 Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Little Britain stylee.. "You like Michael Balls don'tcha?" "Yeah I know." .. "I want Joe Mattocks." Anyway.. If this happens, what will happen with Berner? He can't be happy being 3rd choice. If we get Mee back anyway, that's our LB cover sorted so don't see why we'd need Ball
Dan Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 No harm although it's a real shame he won't even use Berner as cover, Berner should go to Hull with the rest of Pearson's old squad, very good defender, brilliant attitude, just not got the pace. If he had the pace he'd be superb, and probably in the Premier League, dare I say it.
Bugg Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 I think Berner could play great as a CB now that he's lost a bit of pace, I really think he'd be a good no nonsense centre back, doesn't look like it'll happen though.
