BHAFC Braders Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Good on Reading awful first half for us , second half slightly better but still no killer instinct - Championship again next season , but we finish above the Scum (cheers Pompey) not a bad first season back
Tielemans63 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Reading will never last in the Premiership without Matt Mills... Obviously selling MM was the final piece in their promotion-chasing jigsaw.
accessory Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 They could end up taking him back! (even if only on a season's loan..)
MC Prussian Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 They could end up taking him back! (even if only on a season's loan..) That's what Pearson was gambling with by not playing Mills at all, anyway. Some kind of a secret weapon, if you will. It's worked. Pearson's a genius. Proved all his doubters wrong.
daib0 Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Thanks for kind comments guys! In Reading ... Amazing scenes ...
AjcW Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Ian Harte... what a player! Reading 40 points out of a possible 45.
StanSP Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Ian Harte... what a player! Reading 40 points out of a possible 45. 46 out of 51! (not sure how this makes a difference, they've still been fvcking fantastic!).
AjcW Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 46 out of 51! (not sure how this makes a difference, they've still been fvcking fantastic!). Interestingly barcelona have got 40 points from a possible 45 in a league were winning games back to back is much more expected than in a league like ours where you genuinely dont know what will happen each week with each team.
daib0 Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 out of interest for the stats, it's not just 46 points out of 51, it's also apparently 61 of a possible 72 points - still gotta pinch myself.
RedHux Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Yea, our lads heard Coventry had ballsed it up (as is their way) so we did the honourable thing and forgot to mark anyone. Congrats to Reading and all who sail in her. Hope you make a decent fist of it next year.
IdiotequeFox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Well done to Reading, they deserve it, and I've personally met Brian McDermott, comes off as he does in his interviews, a very down to earth chap feet firmly on the ground. Predictions.. Reading to go up as champions. Southampton to follow. Birmingham/Blackpool as play off winners.
Kitchandro Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 What's the featured game on the FLS tonight? 2-0 Bristol City. By Cov
Fox92 Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 Bristol City 2-0 now. Portsmouth and Coventry are relegated unless Barnsley can perform something special.
EnderbyFox Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 The chavs are going down, they're going down, they're going down, they're going!
Fox92 Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 Even Millwall have won 5 on the trot ! They are no pushovers.. Kenny Jackett is a great manager, and, with a bit of cash could build a decent team.
Corky Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 Hope the Saints go up tonight. Big fan of Nigel Adkins (mainly due to the fact he never beats us as a manager).
IdiotequeFox Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 Saints on the way up, and pretty much confirms Birmingham in the play offs.
Corky Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 If it stays this way only the title to be settled next week.
Kitchandro Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 Ref's having a mare here. How did he not send him off when Sharp was about to shoot?
